#1 [Event] Seven v Kamiko on Sun Aug 26, 2018 6:53 am

Yellow eyes were glued to the back of the glasses that allowed him to see properly the game screen embedded in the device he held in his hands. The screen shined an array of greens as the volume was turned to the muted setting allowing for him to listen for his name as he played. The game was something of a fighting game, which he had developed himself as he found himself running into bugs and problems that he would make mental note of just so he would have something interesting to do later. As his name was called, his eyes wouldn't even leave his device. He would simply stand, turn, and walk towards the arena in an ever so nonchalant manner. He was completely enthralled in what he was doing and not in what he was supposed to be doing.

His red hair shown brightly to the crowd as he simply stood with his thumbs moving a mile a minute with the various clicking sounds the buttons brought about. He was now awaiting his opponent, which was odd considering Seven wasn't a combat type of person anyway. He was more of a support guy. He wasn't even sure if he could call himself a hero, since he wasn't sure why he was here. All he knew was that he was waiting.

It was exciting that the sports festival was finally here, Kamiko couldn't wait to show off her powers to the crowd and as such had been practicing extra hard to make sure to give these people a show. However, as she approached the arena for her first match, she couldn't help but notice that her opponent did not share her enthusiasm. Focusing on his game rather then what was going on around him. It was rather rude of him to start with, ignoring her approach as she stood opposite him on the raised platform that made up their arena.

"Hey! Wake up" The girl would shout, retrieving a small coin from her pocket, flicking it into the air only to catch it and repeat the motion. "If you don't want to be here, step out of the ring before I have to make you" He wouldn't have long to make up his mind, Kamiko was already getting annoyed and it was only a matter of time until she decided to make the decision for him.

Seven was thoroughly enjoying himself not realizing as his opponent had entered the stage herself, until he heard the sound of metal. Then, a loud obnoxious voice would cause him to press the pause button before his yellow eyes would look up scanning her features. How ignorant could one person be? A sigh would escape his mouth before he would place his gaming system in his pocket along with his hands. An emotionless look would cross his face and his head would make a swift nod.

"Alright. Make me," he would say ever so arrogantly, even though he knew he wouldn't stand a chance. If she was so cocky, she was more than likely well versed in the combat setting unlike himself. He would find himself listening for the start of the match or watching or anything. He wasn't sure how this worked, but he just wanted to get it over with whether he won or not.

Kamiko just smiled, it seemed like this guy had a little fight in him after all. "Well if that's how you want it, fine" She shrugged, still idly flicking her coin into the air as she waited for the starting siren. The countdown would begin, with the young girl focusing directly on her opponent. There wasn't anything obvious about his abilities, so maybe he would be able to put up a bit of a fight? "5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." The announcer would call out, and at the last number the girl would flip the coin just a little higher as she stretches her hand out, aiming directly at him. "GO!" The moment the start of the match was called, the coin would make contact with her thumb.

The effect was almost instantaneous, with lightning crackling from her arm the coin would be propelled forward in a flash of light and sound. It was aimed directly center mass, with enough force to punch him right out of the ring. Kamiko stood in the aftermath, energy arcing from her body to the ground as the dust cleared, waiting to see the results of her attack.

The boy stood hands in his pockets as the count down of the first round began. Why was he here? He couldn't quite remember why. It wasn't as if his quirk were of any use in this setting. He wasn't even remotely combat oriented. Perhaps, he would fit in better with the gadget kids and at least assist with charging their equipment. Hey, that didn't sound like a bad idea. As the count struck down to one, Seven would begin stepping back noticing the coin was being flipped up in the air. That was something he would have to watch put for. He could see the electricity begin to emerge as the announcer said to begin, but by that time he was already at the end of the stage. He would jump backwards out of bounds wrapping 5 of his cords around a pole at the top of the staircase allowing for the railgun to completely miss him, while ultimately ending the fight. The boy woukd sigh releasing himself onto the ground, which wasn't but a few inches down.

Seven would sigh again pulling out his gaming system onky to realize it was almost dead. He would shrug plugging one of his fingers into it as it began to charge. He would stop a moment before tilting his head towards the exit. Oh yeah, he joined for Sakiko. She's the one who really wanted to enter at least once. Well, he got up there. Now, he was going to wait until her match and cheer her on.

It was over in an instant, though Kamiko could only be disappointed that she hadn't managed to actually hit her target. It still wasn't clear what the boy's quirk was but he seemed to have quite the reaction time to be able to just jump out of the way like that. Regardless, she was declared the winner shortly after, with the final crackling arcs of lightning died down. "Well that was easier than I thought..." The girl would shrug, turning to go ahead and walk off the stage. It was best she prepare for her next battle, just in case there was someone out there to provide a real challenge.
