Pallas was told that there was this awesome tournament he needed to join. Like the fool he is he did indeed join. He rubbed the back of his head before checking his pockets to make sure that the had all he needed. He’d have a slight disadvantage here due to not being able to use one of his abilities, but he figured he’d somehow work something out. He soon made his way onto the tournment ground, testing the ground with his feet as he walked. He smiled at he’d at least be able to use the dirt and earth here to help him along. As he walked he picked up two large rocks and walked with them in his hand to the center of the ring. He was not sure whom he was facing but he’d want to have a slight bit of preparedness up no matter what. He waited in the center of the ring for his opponent.

Truly,  he did enjoy a battle, a good ole foght to the death. However, a fight like this?  Where was the fun if you could not utterly maim your opponent until their last breath?  There was none as far as Kazuku was concered, yet... his father dragged him along either way.  Damned man should just choke on his tongue.

Walking into the dirt grounds he looked around and saw nothing that pleased him.  It was nothing but a dog pit. Looking onwards the Mazispawn saw his opponent, a younger looking man sitting in the middle, holding onto a few rocks.  Was that his plan?  Well, he should at the least keep an eye out for tricks.

His presence almost oozed out of him, the anger and bloodlust he had built through his life. This was contradicted by his calm and confident demeanor.  In the middle facing eye to eye with pallas he had a passive smirk on his face.

Pallas was beginning to wonder if his opponent would show up when he felt rather than saw him approach. Pallas could already tell this would be a tough fight. Holding onto the rocks harder they would ignite. Looking at the person before him in the eyes Pallas could tell he had a bloodlust greater than his own and didn’t want Pallas to give up. He wanted Pallas dead. ”Well now. Seems I have quite the battle ahead of me. Shall we begin or were you trying to catch me off guard? he would calmly say.

One thing about Pallas, at the very least he was stubborn. He did want to try to put up a good fight at the very least. He waited for a response from Kazuku.

Pallas waited for an answer but it seemed like one would never come. His anger transferred right to the grenades and made them stronger. Before Kazaku could attack Pallas launched both grenades at him. The explosion threw Kazaku back and into the stands, knocking him out cold. At that point Pallas knew he was victorious.

As the man spoke Kazuku inched closer before placing his palm against his blades handle. He knew this boy could feel his overwhelming power, yet he stood there waiting for Kazuku to make a move, and so he shall.

"Yes, you best be wary. "

Pulling his blade from it's sheath he pulled it's pommel to his chest with his right arm, his left placed behind his back and lunged forward with a burst of speed hoping to quickly plunge his blade into Pallas' chest.

"Here I come!"

Pallas listened, or rather watched what Kazuku did. As Kazuku was lunging forward he tossed his grenades in the air. From there he moved to sweep Kazuku’s leg out from under him.

It seemed the man would throw his 'weapons' into the air, perhaps hoping to distract Kazuku. Alas, it would be no use as the sweep of Pallas' leg would be met with a wall of shadows extending from the shadow of Kazuku which quickly distorted blocking it before exploding into six spikes jutting towards Pallas. Catching himself Kazuku would stand up straight and stick his blade into the wall of darkness, the shadows consuming the blade, and as he pulled it free the blade would be completely covered in a black thick mist, a red tone seeming to emanate from it.

This is the senerio that went through Kazaku’s head and was supposed to be the original outcome. But in actuality what he did not realize was that the so called distraction was not only a distraction but it served a purpose as well. It prevented him from using his shadows due to the over abundance of light. Because of his overconfidence in his suicide strike this left him wide open.

Alas, he had thought too far ahead, and with some stroke of luck his opponent managed to sweep his leg out from under him. Putting his right hand backwards he caught himself, sweeping his own legs towards pallas, spinning himself upright. Once upright he would swing his sword at Pallas' chest and stomach hoping to spew his guts all over the battle field.
