Lights regulars footsteps echoed on the walls of Sereitei. A quiet looking woman with a black regular mask on her face and long flowing black hair was strolling quietly on the busy 5th Squad ground division. She was newly appointed as a Vice-captain in this division, and feeling curious about what kind of captain she would serve under. Moku wished he wasn’t one of the over-powerful retarded captains she heard about. Or way too serious for his own good. She wouldn’t be able to not tease him at some point. It was too ingrained in her nature.
She also feared paperwork. Moku wasn’t a writer by nature. She preferred action over sitting behind her desk, idling away ink and days. Oh well! She will found out soon enough what her duties will be. She clutched the neat stack of papers she had in her arms a little tighter. One seated officer just snatched her away when she was on the way, giving her a load of paperwork to complete before the end of the week. She hoped it won’t make her get off of the wrong foot with her new superior.
Finally she arrived near the barracks. They were imposing buildings, dominating the training grounds were some shinigami were training. She looked with attention, and noticed some defaults that could be corrected. Hopefully that will be on her tasks. Especially Hakuda. She was good at punching and kicking things away. As she entered, she wondered if her new captain will want a taste of her abilities. Smiling internally, she continued to make her way to his office, wishing he was in here and not somewhere else. Her sensing skills were non-existent and having memorized the Sereitei grounds before coming, she felt it would be an insult to ask her way.
She knocked twice in rapid succession, then ones more.

Ryuuichi slept lightly in his seat as there was a large pile of paperwork on his desk. It was too nice of a day for him to be doing paperwork, a nice nap just felt right for him. However it wasn't too long before he was interrupted by a knocking. Just who was it now? "Come in, come in..." Ryuuichi then proceeded to run the drowsiness out of his eyes and pick up a pen to look like he was actually doing some work.

Once she proceeded to walk in, he would wait a moment before setting his pen down. "I see... you're the Vice Captain right? Uhh what was your name again..... it's uhh..." He paused and rubbed the back of his neck casually. He'd then wait for her to say her name, which she likely would have. "Right so.. I guess to get started... " Ryuuichi stood up and picked up one of his many piles of paperwork and set it on a separate, clean desk in the room. "This is my welcoming present. This is your desk.. this is your work for now, in addition to the paperwork you have with you. Ah, right. My name is Ryuuichi Mazino... I'm the Captain of Squad 5 obviously."

With that Ryuuichi sat back down within his seat. Upon inspection he was wearing his normal attire. This consisted of what looked like a dark charcoal/black Gi that was tied at the waist by a black cloth belt. Instead of normal Shinigami wear, he had black boots that rose up to just under his knees. Over the ago was a black jacket that hung down past his waist. His whole torso was left open, though covering the top of his chest were a few plates of armor, as well as a few more plates on his left shoulder. The jacket had a collar rising up his neck and around his neck was a black scarf that hung out behind his back.

Moku stiffened at the casual approach of her captain. She cautiously entered the space, stepping without a sound. Bowing in a formal way, she presented her application when her captain couldn’t find her name. So that was her captain? He was a lot laid-back, and appeared uncaring about the piles of paperwork on his desk. She eyed it warily, wondering how much he would dump on her. At least the  stack she had was exclusively for the Captain. Apparently a massive mission was going on, from what she gathered on her way, and paperwork was running twice as much for the higher officers. Maybe she will be asked to participated?
Keeping her face neutral, still partially hidden behind her black mask, Moku just nodded when he split his workload and gave about a third to her. Great… Paperwork. Hourray! When he added that her own load was for her to do, she simply made a negative sign with her head, sending her hair right and left on a graceful wave, before indicating silently the note attached to the stack “Private documents. For Captain of the 5th Squad view only.”. She added a hidden smirk at that, before depositing her workload on the recently vacated spot on his desk, then ambled to her own chair.
She hoped he would at least groaned aloud. This will get fun real soon, she thought while methodically beginning to complete her own work.

From what it seemed like, she was very quiet. Not another boring person. He had enough of them here. However he soon took back that thought with her sassy attitude. She was trying to get out of paperwork? I think not. "I see.. well, I've seen it and now I pass it on to you as the superior here. Enjoy your paperwork." He gave her a warm smile before looking over a few of the papers upon his desk. After a few moments he remembered something. He needed to test the strength of his subordinate so, may as well do so now. Ryuuichi stood up and strolled towards the door, his hands slipped into his pockets. "Ahh, I just remembered something. Follow me, leave anything you brought with you here, we won't need paperwork." With that Ryuuichi strides out of the grounds of Squad 5 and proceeded towards an empty training lot. Getting here took a solid three hours since they were now outside of Seireitei.

"Still with me? Alright, I'm going to test your abilities. Released Zanpakuto or not, come at me and show me the best of your abilities. However if you don't, you could find yourself face to face with death itself. Don't let that discourage you." Ryuuichi sighed and drew his zanpakuto. As he did so it was as if the lid came off the jar as his reiatsu flared. Even those who couldn't sense it would be able to feel the weight pushing down on them. However those at a similar level as his wouldn't feel much st all, as their reiatsu would be at his levels as well. With his blade drawn, the sound of sparks was heard as black lightning danced in the sky around his body and blade randomly before disappearing, only to appear somewhere else once more. His golden eyes stared her down as he awaited for her to make her move.

That man was an idiot. There was no other words to described his attitude. So he was going to make her do HIS super-important and secret stuff, just because paperwork seemed to bore him? Well… Two can play at that game… While she showed nothing on her face, she smiled inwardly maniacally. Still, she choose not to answer him yet. All in good time. She wished to surprise him enough to get a funny reaction when she will first speak directly from inside his head.
Doing as her captain recommended she left what she was signing on her desk. She took her time to properly order it before following her captain, running behind him. She didn’t make a sound as she tried to keep his rhythm, thinking about using her shikai to accelerate her movements but finally deciding against it. She couldn’t keep it long for now, and Moku didn’t know how much distance they still had to cover. Finally they arrived on an empty space devoid of anything that could either broke or bled. Good. They were going to train then. Mentally preparing to the fight to come, she couldn’t help but scoff in her thoughts as her captain bragged about his abilities. Adding an inward roll of her eyes, she took a fighting stance, her left foot braced behind her as her fists rose to cover her face. She looked attentively as his blade sparkled and his eyes blazed gold. It was a beautiful vision in a savage way. Totally her thing actually. Still she showed no emotion, and planned her first series of attack when it became apparent her superior was waiting for her to make her move.
She began with her brute skills, even her useless reiatsu sensing could perceive as if a light weight was dragging her down. There wasn't much she could sense, so it was huge for her to be able to. She needed to began fast and hard.
Jumping forward, feinting to the left, Moku quickly changed her footing before swinging her right leg to her captain’s kneecaps. In case this one didn’t work, she spun gracefully to place herself behind him, where she wished her left hook to catch her superior’s head. To finish her series of moves she easily jumped high in the air, her eyes on the floor as she spun again in a light full curve, charging a kick at full strength and speed in direction of her captain, who was under her. She hoped to land at least one of her attacks on his person, to wipe this smug look off his eyes.

First impressions, Ryuuichi was rather disappointed. Not even a sword in hand. However his mood didn't improve much either. As she charged she aimed for his knee so he simply backed up a couple steps and out paced her while just backing up once more st her hook. However when she took to the sky, he stuck out his hand and formed a 5 meter in diameter ball of electricity and it shot towards her while she was in mid fall. Just how exactly would she be able to avoid and attack while she was in the air like that? Being struck by this orb would cause first degrrr burns over her whole body just from how hot the electricity was. After that, she had to hit the ground eventually so he decided to swing his blade towards her torso. If she was somehow still performing her attack, his arm and the length of his blade would strike before her leg could even reach him, meaning he would strike her out of the air using the flat of his blade. If not then he would simply charge and perform the attack horizontally at her torso.

He looked disappointed by her attacks. Well, everyone wasn’t captain class after all. If he could be beat that easily he wouldn’t have the job.
He avoided all her moves. Fine. She knew it wouldn’t be that simple anyway.
But when he pointed his glowing hand in her direction, she couldn’t help but loose a bit of her composure. Her eyes widened dramatically as she understand she wouldn’t be able to get away in time. Taking her decision in a split of second, she invoked her Zanpakuto. Since she was mute it all went relatively silently. Harsh winds raised around her, making her attacking leg still in position of attack more dramatic. Long strands of hair flapping wildly around her form, her eyes glowed blood red like the tattoos she got between the beginning of her breasts and her collarbone. Her hardened skin mostly protected her from the glaring spell, but she still felt high burning sensation on parts of her body. And it blinded her from the flat of her captain’s blade, ready to redirect the path of her kick. The flat of the sword caught her on the side, cracking a rib or two. If she could grunt, she would have. It threw her midair so fast she wasn't able to plan a smooth reception. She skidded on the harsh ground, scratching a bit her skin and getting dirt on the burns she just acquired. Finally stopping after an uncontrolled spun, she bent her two legs beneath her, jaw clenched to muffle any sounds of pain, grounded her feet and placed a hand to support the rest of her body. A brief dizzying spell took her over, but faded soon. Her expression had regained her usual unimpressed demeanor as she stalked a large circle around her superior, analyzing the situation for possible weaknesses. She internally cringed as her broken ribs began to mend themselves. That wasn't a pleasant sensation at all, and will take longer than her other injuries to heal.
As she wasn’t sure he had perceived the change in reiatsu, not knowing his sensing abilities or even if the pressure registered in his radar since his reiatsu was much stronger, she decided to act as if he knew she passed on shikai. She already felt her high-regenerative abilities healing the multiples stinging burns on her body. She was sure the one on her left brow was visibly losing his angry red color for a faded ugly pink before disappearing. Ignoring the pain still here, she prepared to attack. Bracing herself she suddenly launched to his left unprotected side, his right hand holding the sword. With the release of her shikai her speed had greatly improved, making her a blur. As soon as she landed she delivered a fast punch aimed for his ribs, releasing her four blades from her knuckles just short of touching the skin and retracting them even faster. She didn’t want him to see them, but if it hit he would sense her hidden trick. Not wasting a second she immediately dropped and kicked a slight precise curve destined to catch his legs and make him fall and followed without a sound by a strengthen punch. If it landed on the ground, it will probably create a small crater with the force she used. Then she jumped to land at a safe distance from him, watching for any new things that could harm her. She panted slightly, wincing from the pain in her limbs her regeneration skills were causing. In a few seconds all will be healed, since first degrees burn weren't considered a major injury.
She counted herself lucky he used the flat of his blade before and the burns were lights. Even if she could regenerate at a faster rate than normal people, losing a limb wasn’t something she looked for.

He was correct in his attack choice. She couldn't avoid the lightning nor his blade as it sent her tumbling. As she rose, she seemed to be in pain.. was he going a bit too far? No matter, it seemed like she had a sort of regeneration. That wouldn't help her for long as she charged his left side now. Did she think he was weaker on his side? He sighed and rose his arm as his worst her hat forearm and stopped her from hitting him as he turned his hips and kneed her in the stomach then raised his blade upwards before bashing the pommel of the sword down on top of her head to send her towards the floor from the unexpected strike to the back of her head. Since she didn't even know it was coming, it could potentially knock her out. However Ryuuichi was prepared in case not all went as planned.

He avoided easily her punch, going as far as sighting. Moku didn't like it but the difference of strength was too much. She bent as much as possible to lessen the damage taken by his knee but not going so far as to get kicked in the face. However she couldn't dodged the whole attack, and her healing ribs suffered once more.
That was one of the moment she would be glad to be able to scream. It hurt like a bitch.
She sensed his sword rapidly descending toward the back of her neck, sending all her instincts screaming. In a desperate move fueled by her will to survive she launched herself on his backside. Since she couldn't be sure it wasn't a blade ready to beheaded her and wasn't coherent enough in her panicked state to recognized there was no killing intent, it was all purely luck and natural instinct she avoided it. Tumbling on the ground she hastily picked herself up and jumped as far from him as possible. So that was captain class. She didn't stand a chance from the beginning, he kicked her around so easily despite not having released is sword.
Still wobbly on her legs and shaking from exhaustion as her regeneration abilities worked full speed to repaired her damaged body, she indicated with her hands and stance that she yielded.

Ryuuichi couldn't help but crack a small smile for a moment as she avoided the finishing blow, however, at that she began to scramble around and run for her life in a hurry. He met a serious expression and slowly strode towards her, looking down upon her (At her breasts). Saying he was imposing and menacing would be an understatement. With his dense and thick reiatsu pouring out and weighing down her weakened body would really begin to be noticeable now. If anything, it was beginning to look like his Reiatsu itself was nearly visible in the air around them. "Well.. I guess this'll be enough for one day. Tomorrow should be interesting I'd hope." With that his imposing reiatsu was forced back inside the jar and the lid kept it from escaping anymore as he was back in his normal state.

Ryuuichi sheathed his Zanpakuto. "Learn from your mistakes, and remember this feeling you have right now. Never forget it." He gave her a smile before extending his hand out to her. "You don't need me to carry you back do you? I didn't hurt you that bad... right?" He smiled sheepishly at her as he would pull her up if she accepted his hand.
