The soul reaper flash stepped towards his side as he released a crescent wave of energy at Dre. Immediately turning towards the man, he would swing his sword in the direction of the incoming crescent wave only to release his own wave of spiritual energy. Both of the energy waves would clash together resulting in a huge explosion that would make Dre go backwards a few feet. Kaede would Shunpo behind him to perform a slash that Dre knew he couldn't avoid completely -- the only option he had was to bringer light forwards. However, the blade would make contact with him, thus breaching his armor and cutting his back in the process.

Dre would create some good distance as he would go onto direct his gaze towards the two soul reaper's, only to begin to speak by saying, "I surrender!" He would such with a lopsided grin on his face only to drop his sword on the ground.

Shingen watched the exchange and the aftermath. He got to a firm stance as he wanted to try to be as ready as he could for what would come next from this man. Unfortunately for Shingen, his best was nowhere near what this man was bringing to the table that day but it certainly didn't mean he couldn't try. What did end up happening next is what truly caught Shingen off-guard as the man, wearing that sly grin on his face, uttered the words 'I surrender' and relequished his sword.

Shingen would then draw in a breath a sigh of relief and exhale it almost immediately after. He glanced over toward the Captain that would take him back to Soul Society for a moment before looking back upon that man that, to this moment...Shingen still doesn't know his name, and spoke to him. "I don't know if you were to actually kill me off regardless, but from that strength level...I would say you more wanted to test the Captain's skills and abilities more than anything else, while getting in the free kill on me." Shingen thought about it for a moment then finished up, "You most likely felt that if you couldn't use me in any way and I'm not worth any money to you, plus my name has value even in death...then at the very least you should just kill me from the fact we met so I don't ruin your hunt for whoever you were originally after in case I met them and they asked me if I crossed paths with you at any point which would've given away how close you are to finding them." Shingen smiled to himself as he turned to Captain Melk and said, "Now that this is all over, I'm truly ready to go."

Kaede's Holy Slash was collided with Dre's attack resulting in an explosion that covered the following movements as Kaede shunpo'd behind him slashing, Though the human managed to try and dodge it wasn't enough as the red-haired captain's blade bit into the human's back through his armor. Dre would stop his shunpo a good distance away locking his eyes with both Kaede and Shingen he would drop his sword, declaring that he surrenders. Though the lop-sided grin on his face kept Kaede on his guard, blade at the ready he started to speak only to be cut off by Shingen.

The renegade mentioned something about Dre possibly wanting to kill him, or maybe just test Kaede, either way meant little to the captain of Squad 2. He found a comrade gone rogue who wanted to come home peacefully, so that was his goal. As Shingen finished speaking Kaede spoke, his eyes never leaving Dre, just in case the human wanted to do something foolish like attack as soon as their guards was down, that is the only reason that Kaede could think of for the human not sealing his powers away. "Hey you, Mr. Wordy Shinigami, if you are done talking please open up a Senkaimon while I keep my eye on the human."

Assuming Shingen did as Kaede requested, and Dre didn't try and attack them again Kaede would slowly back through the gate, his eyes not leaving the gray-haired human at least not until the gate closed. Once the gate was closed and they were safe Kaede would dismiss the sword he held and lead the way to the Soul Society... The paperwork from this incident was going to be nuts.

However should Dre's surrender prove false Kaede would be ready to counter as necessary.

Dre listened to both of them speak only to say his piece afterwards, "eh, you're right and wrong at the same time." Dre said looking at Shingen, as he continued, "I would have killed you if this captain didn't come along to save the fuckin day." Making a quick glance towards Kaede he would continue, "I thought I had a chance against him, but I actually don't. It would have been unwise of me to continue to attack him even after he realised his sword. Though you are correct when you say that I wanted to test his skills. I had that intention as well." Placing the edge of the sword on his shoulder, Dre would grin from ear-to-ear as he made his way towards Shingen slowly. "That reminds me... You didn't reveal your name. So, what is your name Shinigami?" Once the man revealed his name Dre would go on to reveal his, since it was only fair if he did such.

Shingen enjoyed the fact that the situation was finally cooling down. Captain Melk was so powerful and it showed during this man's display of his own power. Shingen clearly was out of his league on this day and didn't belong near either of man. He did survive and that's what mattered most so that he can get to their level of strength in the future. His time away from the Gotei and proper training has really hurt him more than anything else during his time in the World of the Living. Captain Melk ordered that Shingen open the Senkaimon for them to go back. While he was in the middle of opening the gateway, the strange man approached him and asked what his name was. Shingen glanced over and responded, "I'm Shingen Minamori." As he completed his question, the Senkaimon was completely opened and ready to be used.

Kaede wasn't really interested in Dre's response, the red-haired captain was thinking that it was probably just another attempt to get in another sneak attack. Though as he mentioned that he had wanted to test Kaede's skills it took considerable amount of self control to not scoff at it. As Dre continued to ask Shingen about his name Kaede realized that he still didn't know the rogues name, or whether or not he was even the person he had came to the human world to find. Keeping his eyes locked on Dre, Kaede would listen as Shingen introduced himself, prompting Dre to do the same. Well I guess this truly is my lucky day, I managed to find the needle in the haystack that is this world, in no time at all Sensing the Senkaimon was open behind him Kaede would call out to Shingen "Go through first, Either I will be behind you or I will send some proof with you."

Presuming that Shingen followed Kaede's order to go through the gate he would slowly back his way into and through it, his eyes not leaving Dre until the pathway was closed behind him. Should Dre attempt to make a move Kaede would attempt to intercept it with either a quick barrier, or his blade depending on the type of attack. And if Shingen was still standing outside of the gate he would push him through it, creating a copy of Rena's Bankai and tossing it in after him. While Shingen would not be able to use any of its abilities, it's very appearance should be enough to get Rena to put a Stay on his execution for being a traitor at least until she heard from Kaede.

However if the both of them were allowed to enter the gate peacefully Kaede would disperse caladbolg once the human side of the passage had closed.

Dre grinned as the man revealed his name; it was time to him to do the same. "Dre Jaegerjaquez." He said as he gave Shingen and the captain level only to turn around and walk in the opposite direction. The soul reaper's were making their leave, and it was time for Dre to make his leave as well. His night was still not done since he still had his original mission to complete. And now since all the shenanigans had come to an end, his mission had become his main priority now.

Now with everything being put behind him on this day, Shingen continued his motions to enter the Senkaimon to reach the Soul Society on the other side. Captain Melk was to follow right behind him as an insurance policy. As he proceeded through, it brought back a rush of memories but Shingen persevered and reached the other side. He was quickly met by faces he didn't recognize who were starting to question his but also saw CC Rena's bankai on his back. This really became a perplexing situation for those who didn't understand what was going on. All that remained for Shingen now was to be escorted to the 1st Division barracks and see the Captain Commander. Once that is over, then he will know what his fate shall be.

The human side of the gate closed without further incident leaving them cut off from Dre. Now safe Kaede would disperse his weapon, putting one hand on Shingen's shoulder he would then escort him through the Senkaimon and all the way to Rena's office to await judgement, drawing more than a couple of awkward stares along the way from shinigami going about their normal business. It wasn't often that they saw a shinigami be Escorted like this while still being allowed to have their zanpakuto on their person. Once they reached Rena's office and before entering Kaede would put his hand out to Shingen telling him, "I will need to hold onto your Zanpakuto till you have been Judged. I hope you understand."

Shingen who had been nothing but cooperative this whole time probably handed it over allowing them to walk in without any problems and for him to tell his story to Rena with Kaede standing at the way side ready to act on whatever judgement that Rena handed out.
