Ah the Sou-Taichou, god she was a fucking cunt sometimes, but, that didn't mean that Kokoro wasn't going flying currently.. The wall was painful, and it certainly didn't help the giant hole in his fucking stomach, but Kokoro looked on. "He's the Cero Espada Sou-Taichou, I thought it was warranted, especially since he had a fellow Captains life in jeopardy.." Kokoro cracked his neck a bit and realized his breathing was getting difficult. "Yeah, sorry Sou-Taichou, next time I'll let the Cero Espada kill everyone while you're napping as opposed to using my fullest capabilities." Fucking idiot.. Kokoro used his tendrils to stitch his stomach shut, and glared towards the two. "Now then, if you'll excuse me, I have some healing to do.." Kokoro coughed once more, blood spewing all over the ground. "As for you Espada, next time we meet, you will die.."

Kokoro walked off, clearly in need of medical attention unbeknownst to the apparent fool that was their Captain Commander... "Fucking simpleton.." was all Kokoro said as he stumbled, haphazardly into his lab, and left the area..

As disappointed as I was in the so-claimed 'strongest Espada' to have pushed his hand so far, I had to give myself some credit for having grown so much. I couldn't have done it without Kokoro, but I was nowhere near as green as I once used to be. As he elevated into a form known as Segunda Etapa, I felt an overwhelming presence, but it wasn't from him. As if something bigger than even the Soul King, a voice boomed over the training area. With it, a spiritual pressure unlike any other. Rena's presence spread out over what I could assume stretched to cover the entire Gotei area, at first, chiding Kokoro for his use of Kurohitsugi. I knew I wasn't an idiot for not wanting to use that. Almost immediately after, he got tossed through a wall, which I gathered minor amusement from. As if I'd seriously missed something, she was already standing in front of the Espada, whom she called Graven.

She was damaged slightly by Graven's blood, but otherwise seemed fine. She would take Graven by the leg and flipped him several meters away. She very hastily gave Graven an ultimatum, explain himself or die. I'd get to talking if I were him. I would have liked to assist Rena, but her presence was snuffing my drained presence a bit, putting me relatively out of commision. If I was absolutely needed, I would be able to muster up the strength to do it, but it would take something very severe, or a direct order. It was then that Rena addressed me, asking me to remove my blindfold, which I did so, chuckling slightly under my weakness.

I would look on, directly at the two, still feeling Rena's overpowering spiritual pressure. With every word she spoke, I could tell she was extremely distressed, but also slightly out of it. She was not happy about any of this. I'm rather amazed that I was merely told to remove my blindfold, and not tossed through a wall like everyone else. I folded the blindfold up neatly and stuffed it back into my haori. I would seal my Bankai, back into the silver rapier adorned in blue, hoping that Rena would be able to take it from here.

Graven's eyes widened ever so slightly as the Captain-Commander, Rena Lisola, flashed past him. He could still see her movement, but barely. Punching the now-named Kokoro through a building, she spun and caught his foot in a single hand inches before he struck her side, tanking the equivalent of twenty Ceros like it was nothing and throwing him aside like a ragdoll. Reaching out, he dug his claws into the ground deep enough to use Sonido and land about five feet in front of her. Dammit, he needed to get stronger if he was going to deal with this shit! He didn't feel an insurmountable difference between her base reiatsu and his, but it was significant enough to cause trouble. Flexing his right leg, the one that was grabbed, he stamped his clawed foot down once or twice to get some feeling back into it. Rena was certainly a powerhouse, that was for sure, and he didn't think he could keep up without a bit more training. Fuck...

Listening to her ultimatum, he chuckled a little before allowing his form to reseal into the katana sheathed on his hip. Flexing his own reiatsu once more, he staved off the effects of her crushing presence enough to not be bothered by it. Sighing, he began to explain his reasoning in the odd bass that defied logic, due to the hole in his throat. "Well, my initial intent was to meet with you to discuss an interest of mine, but your illustrious little Kido specialist here decided that my sitting peacefully in your waiting room was an immediate threat to all of Soul Society. I was completely willing to play for a bit while waiting, but this Kokoro showed up and forced my hand. After all, it definitely would have been embarrassing for me to die here when all I wanted was information. So, to business. I've heard from the grapevine that one of my friends was found dead, and I wanted information as to what exactly I should expect. Kaitou Eta-Naru, Captain of the Sixth Division, was supposedly killed in action in a confrontation with a human. Friends are rather rare in Hueco Mundo, and I've taken to keeping those I can find close. What was most disconcerting about this incident is that I had just spoken to him about two or three weeks prior to his death. Please, enlighten me. How does one of the Gotei 13's most talented and powerful Captains manage being killed by an empowered human?"

Flicking a blood-red eye towards the other Captain present, Graven noted the disappointment and disgust in his gaze directed towards him. What, did he find the Espada weak? Smirking, the wolf would begin to speak once again, directed towards this upstart. "Oh, and Captain-san? Don't give me that look, especially when you'd likely have been dead if I were serious. That Hado of yours, #88, was it? It was far too slow, especially after I've released my Zanpakuto. If you'd like, fire another at me while I converse with the young lady over here. I'll prove it."

Oh, Graven knew he would push the youngling's buttons, but it was a valid point. Had the Captain of Squad Twelve not been there, he wouldn't have even needed to release. Even then, he had probably jumped the gun, given the look that Alyss was giving him from a couple hundred feet in the air. He had an earful waiting for him when he got back to Las Noches, but this was a necessary evil.

Rena was not amused when he started talking about Kaitou. Who died mere weeks after she had personally sparred with him. So she knew he wasn't weak. In fact he was the reason she started taking all of her captain's more seriously. While she was surprised the captain had been friends with the king of hollows she filed that away under things to deal with later. She decided to humor him and answer his questions.

"I'm not obligated to tell you anything, and by all rights I should have you vaporized for being a hollow in the first place. However if someone were to mention a guy named Accelerator was the last human known to be near Kaitou, though that someone would then mention they can't confirm whether or not that human was the one who killed him or not, then I guess I wouldn't be able to do anything about that slip of a hint would I?"

She was playing a game sure, but she wanted to know the truth and have justice for Kaitou's death as well. While they couldn't prove Accelerator killed Kaitou, currently, he WAS the last one near Kaitou before his death. So if anyone could know more about the situation it would be him.

But the Gotei cannot use it's resources to interrogate a human and she hadn't had the time to look into the matter herself despite wanting to. So she was going to use Graven to do it.

Limping a bit, mostly due to the taxation of my body, I walked closer to Rena. I would stand behind and to the right of her, out of commitance to loyalty. I'd revert to the sealed state immediately, then use it to keep myself upright. In my mind, I was apologizing to Fusoku, but I felt that she understood why I did so. The Cero Espada looked at me, attempting to taunt me into firing off another kido of some sort, but failing. One, I was tired. Very tired. I could do it, but it wouldn't really put me in a good position. Two, well... "You do realize that it would be rude to interrupt one's superior, wouldn't you think so?" I would say directly to him after Rena had finished speaking. Three? The last thing I wanted was to give him the satisfaction, though my sensing ability would allow me to track him, no matter how fast he was.

I would look at the Espada, fearlessly. "If there was something you needed to discuss with her, it would have been easier to politely call on her. That is to say, not breaking in through the equivalent of dropping in through our roof. Essentially what my job entails is stopping anything that enters the Seireitei by force, which is exactly what you did. Taichou, if you would like to handle a discussion with him, privately, I will leave you both to it. I doubt he'll be a threat, since he blew most of his power trying to stop us." Addressing my Commander, I'd turn to her and bow slightly. Depending on whether Rena dismissed me or not, I would either stay, or drop by Squad 4's barracks.

Graven snorted slightly in amusement at the insinuation that he had used virtually any of his true strength, as his reserves were likely still around 80% of their max AFTER the combined assault of the two Captains...Well, Kokoro was the one that did most of the damage. This other man, the Captain of the Eighth, didn't seem to understand how outclassed he was. Accepting the information the Captain-Commander gave him with a slight smile and a wink, the Cero Espada would throw another jab at the far-younger male. It was fun, after all. "Well, little Captain, I think you misunderstand me. I know exactly what the Captain of the Eighth Division's job is, as I knew the original. In fact, I'd dare say that his arm never was the same after we met, nor was the shoulder it was ripped from. I am over five thousand years old, brat. Any warrior who has lived as long as I have deserves respect. As I said before, I merely wished to play in order to pass the time when you approached me with Bankai active. If it weren't for the Captain of the Twelfth's appearance, I likely wouldn't have released. My entire purpose here has been to speak with the Captain-Commander, not to kill any of you. Besides, what adult would ever go full-force against a child like yourself? Once you've grown a little further, and once you've strengthened your abysmal level of reiatsu, come find me and we can have some real fun. You're not twenty feet away, and I can hardly sense you over myself."

After delivering his monotone, matter-of-fact response, he would turn to Captain-Commander Lisola with the same small smile as before, bowing lightly in a sign of respect. "I thank you for your insight, and for our hypothetical slip of information. You seem to be a pleasant enough young woman, and I believe it would be intriguing to speak with you further at some point. As I said, friends are rare in Hueco Mundo, and there are few Shinigami truly worthy of respect. The job of balancing souls is a thankless one, isn't it? May your next hunt bring you glory, young pup."

The small smirk widened slightly as he used Sonido to join Alyss, the two exchanging a few words before she huffed and accepted whatever he was saying. Opening a Garganta and letting his mate through first, the Arrancar looked back once to watch how his words were received before striding through. He had chosen them carefully, after all, choosing to remind the Captain-Commander of the Shinigami and one of her direct subordinates that their job wasn't to indiscriminately kill Hollows, like so many of both sides thought. They were the balancing force between Hollows and Plus Souls, moving the latter to Soul Society and purifying the former so that they could join them too. Eventually, the souls were reincarnated and started the process once again, but it didn't change the fact that if too many Hollows were killed, then there would be an influx of souls that would need to be rectified by immediate Hollowfication, and vice-versa. This was why the Quincy race was so dangerous, and this was why Shinigami were once called Balancers. One can't exist without the other...
