Kuroi stood in a tall pose, his menacing appearance would look like a black demon in a white landscape. His hair was shoulder length, silver tips made them look like blades. A black armour covered his entire body except his neck, hands and feet although his feet and hands had become jet black with sharp and deadly talons. His very being was something to fear, his eyes however stood out among his entire appearance, eyes which showed all the despair he has suffered in life up until this moment. There was no hiding, there was no retreat. There was only fighting, when Kuroi looked down at his opponent he saw him begin to release his zanpakutō, the black swordsman would do something he rarely ever did. Smile. Smile because he could see Graven wasn't going to disappoint his foe. Kuroi rarely ever got the chance to fight full out with no limitations. He was enjoying this and as Graven charged him Kuroi would aim to counter his blows with his own attacks, he aimed to block the hits and want to grab Graven's leg as he attacked with a kick. If he caught it he would strike with his own incredible sharp claws in an attempt to cut Graven's abdomen with his talons.

If he failed or succeeded he would use sonido to make some distance, he could see the reishi breaking down behind Graven and knew something big was coming. Kuroi himself decided it best to take it to the next level, he would begin charging his own unique cero; Cero Oscuros. The cero was regarded as one of the most powerful blasts in Kuroi's arsenal. His Han would become envelope in pitch black reiatsu and he would begin focusing on keeping distance on Graven until his cero was done. Kuroi had a feeling this would be devastating as two powerful cero woul collide in a matter of minutes. For this reason Kuroi was conscientiously making sure he was firing away from Las Noches, he also had to make sure he didn't miss Graven's cero in case it hit Las Noches.

WC: 352 words

NOTE: If Kuroi is hit by Graven's cero his enhanced Hierro makes him on equal tier for defence, if Graven is hit by Kuroi's cero he is treated as one tier higher due to Kuroi's reiatsu not being enhanced in anyway.

Techs Charging:
Technique Name: Cero Oscuras (Dark Zero)
Technique Description: Cero Oscuras is one of Kuroi's trademark techniques, this was developed to be one of his trademark abilities although others have also been seen with the technique which means it isn't limited to him. The technique itself is regarded as a manifestation of himself, all consuming darkness.

When being prepared Cero Oscuras forms as a pitch black cero with the outline of emerald, the colour itself seems to consume the light that is around it and after being charged for a single post it can be fired on the next and when fired it completely consumes the light within its path. The Cero is immensely powerful, being able to completely eradicate a large portion of Hueco Mundo's domed roof if he wills it. The range and power of the cero is why it is so useful to Kuroi and he typically uses it to obliterate his opposition before the fight begins although the only let down is the five post cool down.

Technique Effect Chart:

*The effect chart is for damage, durability, or any other after effect of a technique. The damage/effect/etc will be based off of tiers.*

Opponent is Two+ Tiers Lower: The Targets of this caliber will sustain heavy damage, the sheer magnitude of this attack could decimate lower level NPCs and leave many with heavy burn and impact damage.
Opponent is One Tier Lower: Targets which are just weaker than Kuroi will sustain quite a good amount of damage with serious burns, as well as possibly leaving them with a broken bone or two from the powerful impact.
Opponent is Equal Tier: Those who are of equal strength to Kuroi tend to take a serious amount of damage while not as serious as someone of weaker strength, they will sustain some third degree burns with the majority being that of second degree burns but where the blast hits tends to leave the most damage, the sheer amount of impact damage tends to send the targets quite a distance despite the equal tier.
Opponent is One Tier Higher: Targets of one tier higher power to Kuroi only experience the majority of first degree burns, with where the blast hits there are second degree burns left. Bones can be fractured slightly from the impact.
Opponent is Two+ Tiers Higher: Targets who are much more powerful than Kuroi tend to be able to counter the blast with a technique of their own although if it hits, their body will have first degree burns on the point of impact making it harder to move. The impact damage can cause a large bruise to form where it hit although the target is unlikely to be thrown away.

Graven frowned as his attacks were blocked, although, the blocks themselves and the grip on his leg were tenuous at best. Grabbing Kuroi's hand as he tried to gouge him was child's play, as he proved that his claws were stronger. Interlocking his fingers with the lion's to hold him in place, Graven would allow a small smirk to cross his face, charging and firing a Cero from his mouth point-blank. After this was done, he would allow the other to escape via a Sonido. Watching his hand as a black Cero began to form within the swordsman's grasp, Graven fired his Cero Devastación from the tip of his tail.

The Cero would appear as a thin, straight line before a large blast, drawing the reishi from the surrounding area inward. The implosion would result in everything being drawn to the same point, then blasting outward in a shockwave that would slice apart anything within the blast radius. It was something Graven had designed on a whim one day, or was it over a year? Damn this place. Using Sonido, Graven would then close in for the kill, slashing downward with his right hand, then horizontally outward with his left. Sweeping the leg, he would then stab downward with his hand to use his superior strength and leverage to overpower Kuroi's defenses. If the attack was blocked, he would fire a Cero from his fingertips straight down. Using Sonido, he would then disengage, flicking his palm to let out a small amount of blood, forming another Cero in his hand.

This Cero would be different, more powerful. Glowing with an evil red light, it would pulse and flow within his palm, as if the blood acted as some form of catalyst. 5 more gallons of blood evaporated, mingling in with the raw power coming from the Cero that was forming. The terrain about the two combatants was being demolished as the Arrancar moved, the reishi being absorbed into the tempest of reiatsu making up the most vaunted of all Hollow abilities, the Gran Rey Cero. The devastation would be beautiful.
technique log

Ressurrecion Ability: Emperador Pesadumbre draws reishi in from the surrounding area to form Ceros, imbuing and mingling them with Graven’s blood to pump the destructive power through his entire body. He can then release the Ceros at will through his body or the blood under his control. The control Graven has over blood is increased, allowing him to manipulate double the original 30 gallons at once. His claws are insanely strong - on the level of a Bankai of equal tier - complimenting his natural abilities and replacing a Zanpakuto when necessary.

Technique Name: Cero Devastación
Technique Description: As this technique is released, Graven draws his power back in upon itself, causing a large blast of crimson reishi to draw itself from the target to his finger, tail, or mouth. Anything caught within the blast collapses in upon itself from the sudden gap, much like a vacuum. Of course, the sudden rush of matter colliding with itself proceeds to evacuate outward, causing a large-scale shockwave that slices through anything in the vicinity. This occurrence marks the key difference between Cero Devastación and the Cero of any other released Arrancar; Graven’s Cero has the ability to implode instead of explode. This technique takes a single post to charge, and takes 3 posts to cool down.

Technique Effect Chart:

*The effect chart is for damage, durability, or any other after effect of a technique. The damage/effect/etc will be based off of tiers.*

Opponent is Two+ Tiers Lower: The target takes severe damage from the Cero, a bullet-like wound being blasted into whatever was struck. The area around the wound is warped, the bones crunching inward upon the hole itself as the reishi bonds are dissolved and weakened. The secondary shockwave causes deep slash wounds across the entire blast site.
Opponent is One Tier Lower: Damage done to an opponent is awful, a fist-sized crater appearing in the flesh where the reishi is drawn away. Multiple bones break as they are stressed inward towards the blast radius. The shockwave sent out causes large slash wounds across the body.
Opponent is Equal Tier: The opponent takes a large amount of damage, fingertip-sized craters opening themselves in the area affected and bones fracturing from the inward force. Deeper-than-average slash wounds are suffered from the wave of power released in the aftershock.
Opponent is One Tier Higher: Average damage is done to the target, with the reishi around the area struck beginning to loosen. Bones begin to fracture and heavy bruising forms from the force dragging them inward. The shockwave released causes average slash wounds, becoming shallower around the edges.
Opponent is Two+ Tiers Higher: An opponent of this tier suffers minor damage, with muscle ache and bruising from the intense gravitic force. Shallow slash wounds caused by the secondary shockwave spatter the affected area, causing large amounts of pain. Any terrain caught in the blast is obliterated, collapsing from severe structural damage with any rubble drawn toward the center of the blast.

Technique Name: Blood Manipulation

Technique Description: Using this technique, Graven can reshape and control both his own reiatsu and any blood upon the battlefield to use against his opponent. He can control about 30 gallons at most, half of which is produced upon release of his reiatsu, gaining 5 gallons every post afterward until he hits maximum capacity. Being hit by the blood itself causes damage similar to an average Cero, allowing him to use this technique as both an effective weapon and a powerful defense. This ability lasts for 8 posts once released, then dissipates and requires 2 posts to cool down.

Opponent is Two+ Tiers Lower: Damage is bad, with multiple 3rd degree burns spotting the target area. Bones might break from the force of the blast, and muscles will most likely have tears. Pain associated with this tier is severe, and will likely hinder movement slightly.
Opponent is One Tier Lower: 2nd degree burns cover the affected area, some with the potential to be 3rd degree. Bones may fracture, and muscles have the potential to tear.
Opponent is Equal Tier: Opponent suffers several large 2nd degree burns, with heavy bruising and pulled muscles from the force of the blast. Pain is a guaranteed thing.
Opponent is One Tier Higher: 1st and 2nd Degree burns spatter the impact zone, with medium bruising and strained muscles from the blast force. Target may suffer shell shock, with moderate pain and muscle ache.
Opponent is Two+ Tiers Higher: Combatant will suffer several 1st Degree burns, with light bruising and a slight muscle ache from the force of the blast. Other than this, the target suffers few ill effects, and may even be able to redirect the strike if they have experience with such.

Technique Name: Gran Rey Cero
Technique Description: Each Gran Rey Cero is unique to its wielder, and Graven’s is no exception. By adding his blood into the Cero itself, he fires off a bolt of raw power that pulses and flows like a river of liquefied lightning, stained with the blood-red of his reiatsu. This blast is far more powerful than the average Cero, and is a wonder to behold in combat. Use of this legendary Cero is forbidden within the walls of Las Noches. This technique takes 1 post to charge, and 5 posts to cool down. Graven must also have released his reiatsu for at least 1 post to use this technique, and 5 gallons of the blood under his control is used as a catalyst.

Technique Effect Chart:

*The effect chart is for damage, durability, or any other after effect of a technique. The damage/effect/etc will be based off of tiers.*

Opponent is Two+ Tiers Lower: Damage is severe, but not lethal. 3rd Degree burns are suffered over the area hit along with multiple broken bones, with the potential to be 4th Degree. Limbs may be lost, and the target is in extreme pain as their blood begins to simmer and boil. Terrain is devastated, and buildings may collapse from structural damage.
Opponent is One Tier Lower: 2nd and 3rd Degree burns cover the target’s affected area, and cause large amounts of pain, especially from heated blood. Bones will probably break, and fractures are almost guaranteed.
Opponent is Equal Tier: Opponent suffers multiple 2nd Degree burns, some with the potential for 3rd degree. Bones might fracture, and muscles might tear from the force of the blast. Moderate pain is to be expected.
Opponent is One Tier Higher: 1st and 2nd Degree burns spatter the impact zone, with heavy bruising and strained muscles from the blast force. Target may suffer shell shock, with moderate pain and muscle ache.
Opponent is Two+ Tiers Higher: Combatant will suffer several bad 1st Degree burns, with heavy bruising and a light muscle ache from the force of the Cero. Other than this, the target suffers few ill effects, and may even be able to redirect the Cero if they have experience with such.

Kuroi felt the rush of battle as his barrage made contact, he then felt Graven grab his hand and interlocked fingers with him. Kuroi saw the cero forming and then decided to form one of his own, from his interlocked hand Graven would feel it burn as the cero had no where to go but out. If this didn't make Graven drop his cero Kuroi would wait until his adversary fired it and ten he would duck under it and make his escape. The cero had formed and waited in his hand to be fired, Kuroi watched Graven's tail fire a cero. It wasn't a normal one and Kuroi saw that the dome of Las Noches was behind him, if he didn't create a shield then Graven could blow a hole in the wall, then he was in luck. His shadow had been projected onto the dome and he then used it as a catalyst to manifest a large shield made of his own shadow through Umbrakinesis, while yes he cared nothing for the wall he would much rather keep damage to a minimal from Graven's destructive nature.

It hit. The sheer destructive power of tr cero smashed through the shield wall and shattered it. Fortunately Kuroi had been able to block the worst of it and only fell over with slight bruising, the wall was fine at least and Kuroi wa pleased to see his cero oscuros was still in tact. Graven was charging a cero too, the legendary Gran Rey Cero and Kuroi decided to do it. He aimed and fired the cero at Graven, its sheer speed made it a dark bullet ready to pierce his hide. The photons of ligh would be blanketed out as the cero approached and Kuroi then realised if Graven's cero didn't collide with his own then he couldn't block the cero of that calibre from the wall of Las Noches. I wonder what would happen if something forbidden to be used inside Las Noches was to hit the outside, hopefully it had a different effect or else this is some serious trouble.

Graven's eyes widened as the Cero Oscuras made it's way towards him. He had heard of the ability before, and while it wasn't as powerful as a Gran Rey, it was certainly powerful in it's own right. It would definitely singe him if it hit, even with his Hierro being far above the attack's caliber. Using 3 out of all 25 of his available gallons of blood, Graven formed a shield that would deflect and redirect the attack towards Kuroi with almost all the original force. The shield would bend and flex, moving from concave to convex before becoming an orb that rotated around counterclockwise, against the rest of the blood that was currently in motion.

Graven would bring the Gran Rey Cero he was charging around to bear upon his opponent. He wouldn't be concerned about Los Noches, as the issue with a Gran Rey Cero being used inside was that the sheer power of it warped the atmosphere around it, harming the carefully-constructed world inside of the dome. It was a possibility that the blast would form a hole in the wall of the dome of Los Noches, but the curve of the structure would prevent any permanent damage from being done, which Graven was somewhat thankful for. He had worked hard to build it, and he was not ready to cause any permanent damage to it.

The giant Cero bore down upon the swordsman, the size of it removing any hope of dodging. Graven would watch satisfied as the blast exploded, a large portion of the wall blown away, but not all the way through. He would not let up though, as he was not interested in letting this swordsman get away that easily. Knowing that Los Noches could deal with the Gran Rey Cero adequately meant that regular Ceros would have a much lesser effect on the dome, causing Graven to let loose two ceros back to back on where the Swordsman was. If he had used Sonido to dodge, Graven's ability to detect reiatsu would come in handy, as both of the ceros he fired would be sent at that location instead. He still wasn't done though, as he used his own Sonido to close the gap and strike downward, attempting to show the swordsman his place.

Technique Name: Negation Wall
Technique Description: Graven forms a partial dome of pure, densified blood, defending himself from any attacks on the chosen side. The dome itself is amorpheous, allowing it the potential to redirect an energy-based assault back at the attacker as well as reinforcing its strength against melee attacks. The curvature of the dome itself varies according to necessity, and it can be either concave or convex as the situation dictates. This technique is instant, and lasts for 3 posts or until struck as dictated. Negation Wall requires 3 posts to cool down after its collapse, and uses up 3 gallons of blood.

Technique Effect Chart:

*The effect chart is for damage, durability, or any other after effect of a technique. The damage/effect/etc will be based off of tiers.*

Opponent is Two+ Tiers Lower: Melee attacks are absorbed outright, and energy-based attacks can be redirected back at the attacker with relative ease. Wall will begin to tear after 3 blows, and will break after 5.
Opponent is One Tier Lower: Most of the damage from melee attacks is absorbed, not allowing a solid strike upon the wall. Energy attacks may be reflected back to the attacker with -1 AR from the original force, and it takes 4 blows to break the amorphous formation, with it ripping upon the second.
Opponent is Equal Tier: Melee attacks upon Negation Wall begin to tear it slightly with each blow, as they become more solid and tear into the surface. Energy-based attack can be reflected with some effort, allowing them to be redirected at the attacker with -2 AR from the original force. A combatant with reiatsu equal to Graven’s is capable of breaking the wall with only 3 blows.
Opponent is One Tier Higher: An opponent of this tier begins to rip small holes and fractures into the wall with each hit, showing structural damage after only 1 blow. Energy attacks cannot be redirected by this technique, only providing a slight barrier and reducing damage taken by -2 AR. Negation Wall will break open after 2 blows.
Opponent is Two+ Tiers Higher: Enemies of this caliber are hardly hindered by the formation, able to rend the wall with only a single blow. Their energy-based attacks will hit anything beyond the wall with -1 AR from its original force, and the shockwave from the wall breaking will stagger anyone standing behind it.

Kuroi watched in amusement as his own cero was redirected towards him. No trouble though as Kuroi moved to the side, sure it was large but it wasn't overall large. He watched as it crashed into the wall of Las Noches, it hit with a sickening thud and a small crater appeared in the dome. This would be fatal a Kuroi felt the full force of Graven's Gran Rey Cero hit him, it carried him to the wall and crushed him into the hard and unforgiving stone. This would be further emphasised with two more ceros coming at him although luckily he fell off the wall and landed face first in the sand.

At first he would seem unconscious or possibly even be dead however he eventually moved and stood up it took an incredible effort just to stand but he wasn't going to let pain slow him down. Then he glared at Graven, his eyes full of pain although it would seem like a pain long time gone, not of this time. He moved and then he began to conjurer up darkness in a mist-like state making it impossible for Graven to see him and since it was made of his own reiatsu it would be impossible for Graven to track Kuroi within the mist, eventually the most stopped just five metres away from Graven. Inside the mist the lion-like demon could see perfectly Sombra was an excellent technique, he aimed his arm at Graven and then he fired a blade projectile aimed at Graven's shoulder. The pitch black blade would fire out with incredible velocity, Kuroi's dark and pitch black mist would make it near impossible to see the blade exit the mist however Graven also had no clue of this strange ability he possessed. It was the element of surprise that Kuroi could use and exploit in this fight, if he could just keep his cards close to his chest he may just have a chance at winning. A slim chance but a chance nonetheless, then again Graven was incredibly powerful and rumour had it he had recently obtain Resurreccion: Segunda Etapa, which was considered a myth among arrancar.

WC: 362 words

Techniques Used:

Technique Name: Sombra
Technique Description: Sombra is the technique which Kuroi uses for Shadow Camouflage, what it means is when Kuroi activates it his reiatsu begins converting into pitch black mist almost impossible to see through except those that can use extrasensory abilities or Kuroi himself, it then allows him to completely hide his body in Shadows and basically makes it impossible for him to be seen, after about two posts of the mist generation it begins to fade and Kuroi is camouflaged. Although his is invisible he isn't ethereal and if someone was able to fire a barrage or something hard to dodge his technique wouldn't protect him and he would take the damage.

Technique Effect Chart:

*The effect chart is for damage, durability, or any other after effect of a technique. The damage/effect/etc will be based off of tiers.*

Opponent is Two+ Tiers Lower: He is completely undetectable to the opponent's natural senses. To be clear he can't attack or else he losses the veil of shadows.
Opponent is One Tier Lower: Kuroi is still completely invisible but the air around him tends to shimmer like the air is humid, this is really the only give away although to attack he must loose his camouflage.
Opponent is Equal Tier: To someone of this tier Kuroi is hardly visible, in fact you would be more likely to sense him before seeing him, like before if he attacks he must drop the veil.
Opponent is One Tier Higher: Someone stronger than Kuroi can see him if they look hard enough. It is like a hazy silhouette in the vision of the looker and can be identified pretty easily. In order to attack he has to drop the veil.
Opponent is Two+ Tiers Higher: Against someone of much higher tier Kuroi is like a glass statue. See through but visible, sure in the darkness he is harder to spot but if light is applied he is quite easy to find. In order to attack then he looses his invisibility.

Ressurrecion Ability: Kuroi's powers are mainly physical, and he generally does not use a terribly high amount of Reiatsu. This is only his Ressurection however. His overall abilities include Speed and Cero usage. He is particularly adept at quick movement, making him a dangerous foe to face in battle. His abilities with Cero do not extend generally to knowing lots of Cero, but to having a powerful Cero, and the few Cero he does know being incredibly vicious. Kuroi is prone to having lots of attacks that would aid him with melee fighting. Hierro helps defend him against damage, while his quick speed gives him an upperhand in combat. His Ressurection is mainly soldier/assassin blade combat.

It is called "Battle Advantage." Essentially, Kuroi creates powerful weapons with special properties for negating defenses or striking even through evasions. This means he causes himself to fight at his fullest with unbelievably strong weapons. Meanwhile, he uses other techniques and weapons to make his opponent weaker. In Primera Etapa, he has two techniques to enhance his battle ability, and two to drain his opponent's. In terms of overall, Kuroi is also able to generate weapons in general, though this is limited to swords. His wrist slits allow him to release black blades for use as wrist blade types. These can be made of his own reiatsu, and glow as black blades of reiatsu, or they can be black steel blades. He can also just flat out release them as actual swords with hilts, if he so desires. Kuroi has learned also how to release these swords from his wrist slits, to send them at enemies as projectiles.

Smirking, Graven would go to turn away before he saw Kuroi get to his knees, glaring at the senior Espada in such a way that it screamed pain. Darkness would begin to leak itself out from the man, obscuring his form and swelling until, just barely, it reached around 16 feet from the Arrancar. Graven's eyes widened as a blade blade burst from the mist and stuck itself in his left shoulder, piercing his Hierro and embedding itself a couple of inches in. Reaching up and ripping it out with a frown, Graven's suspicions were confirmed when it dissipated into the same mist. Between the mist, the blade, and the shield earlier, the Primera had concluded that his newest Espada could control shadows or something similar. Unlike most people believed of those with his strength, Graven had a surprising intellect and a wisdom that spoke of eons.

Using Sonido backwards, he would attempt to force the Segunda out of hiding in the mist by moving out of range of his attacks. While doing this, the armored hackles on his back would raise and the spaces between them would begin to glow more fiercely, allowing in more reishi in order to charge his signature technique, Cero Iluvia. The terrain behind them would be decimated by the force of the technique charging, dead trees, sand, and stone being drawn in to fuel this awe-inspiring Cero. in the meantime, Graven would fire off a Cero into the mist towards where the trajectory of the blade had indicated his opponent was, then fired another in a slightly different location that, according to his calculations, could also be a potential center to the mist.

Getting ready to move, Graven would fire a quick volley of Bala into the mist. Using Sonido, he would then disappear without even a flicker, appearing in the mist where once of the Ceros had struck. Closing his eyes, he would sniff around for the other Hollow's scent as the blood making up his shield dissipated. Blood...sand.......the burnt stones of Los Noches...........there. Spinning, he would lash out at where Kuroi's scent was with his claws, and the swordsman would notice his closed eyes as he moved.

Ceros pulse and flow down to his tail, coagulating and blasting outward in a rain of destruction as he lashes his tail towards the enemy. The five Ceros used by this technique absorb 20 gallons of his available blood, and strike with the force of a Gran Rey Cero. Using this technique is taxing, and prevents Graven from producing more blood for 3 posts. Cero Iluvia takes 3 posts to charge, and must cool down for 10 posts after use.

Kuroi smiled as he saw the blade pierce his foe, Graven moved out of range however he simply smiled, it seemed Graven diesired to finish Kuroi with his final and most powerful technique. Almost fitting however he looked down to the painful torn muscle and some fractured ribs, he kneeled lowly for a second but still looking at Graven. His body wasn't used to resurreccion and he rarely used it because no one was worthy. Sombra was still active but the mist would fade soon and Graven would then have his sight again, that would destroy his entire advantage and because of his unique ability has already been used he no longer has the advantage of surprise on his side. That had shifted and now the Wolf was entering the Lion's den.

Kuroi sighed as Graven brought the fight to him, Of course, he is a wolf. His senses must be keen however he lacks the ability to see and can only smell and hear me. Kuroi thought tactically, the fight was getting intense and soon Kuroi wouldn't be able to keep this form, when his opponent appeared and had the intention to strike him Kuroi thought quickly and decided on rapidly producing a black blade which was almost invisible to the outside eyes from his wrist slit which Graven wouldn't be capable of seeing as it went to impale him in the mid-chest region he needed to wound him or at least harm him in a way it would slow him down. Without his sight Graven couldn't see what he was doing, only could only sense where his prey was. The mist would seem lighter to the outside eye, It is fading, Kuroi thought in calm thoughts as he knew soon it would dissipate with the wind and leave the image of the wolf and lion in the middle of combat, the sight Kuroi felt would be quite amazing to see but he had to get him on the defense to have even the slightest chance at winning. It is going to be time soon to give it all both members have to end the fight.

Techniques Used:

Graven could feel the hit connect as his claws sank into his opponent. However, this was short-lived as he heard a quick snick coming from below. Dodging with battle-honed reflexes, he felt the edge of the blade scrape against the Hierro of his stomach as it went by, avoiding the blow by the skin of his teeth. Little did Kuroi know, wolves rely more heavily upon their other senses than they do upon sight, making this fight moot as he was able to fight fairly normally in the pitch black abyss created by this "Umbrakinesis".

Bringing his left hand around, he slashed at the younger Arrancar before firing a Cero in his direction. The warped sound of the blast began to hum in his ears, and the burning smell hit his nose, halting his advance momentarily before he caught his opponent's scent again. Firing another, he would launch into a Sonido to appear behind Kuroi and aim to shove his clawed right hand through his sternum. Hearing the life-beat of his opponent had its advantages, Graven thought with a sadistic smile as he unknowingly hearkened back to the language used by the Nordic tribes of 12,000 years previously. The claw-beast in front of him did its best to avoid him, but Graven was a better hunter than he. Lashing out another trio of attacks, he revelled in the spilling of the red water of life.

Becoming one with his inner fanged-one, he pulsed his spirit outward in order to locate his prey...There. A quartet of Bala made their way towards the opponent as the one thought of as Skoll bared his teeth in a show of rage. His Cero was coming along excellently, and would be ready soon, if the burning smell was anything to go by. The twenty gallons of life-water used to power the technique was definitely worth every drop. He was in control of the battlefield, and he loved it. He had left part of his spirit-pulse in his prey the last time he struck, and he would be able to rip it out once it was ready. The sharp-wounds caused would be extraordinary to see. Graven did not foret that this was his ally, but he needed to establish dominance in order to prove that, once and for all, he was Primera.
technique log

Ressurrecion Ability: Emperador Pesadumbre draws reishi in from the surrounding area to form Ceros, imbuing and mingling them with Graven’s blood to pump the destructive power through his entire body. He can then release the Ceros at will through his body or the blood under his control. The control Graven has over blood is increased, allowing him to manipulate double the original 30 gallons at once. His claws are insanely strong - on the level of a Bankai of equal tier - complimenting his natural abilities and replacing a Zanpakuto when necessary.

Technique Name: Cero Iluvia
Technique Description: The hellish light glowing between the plates of Graven’s mask fragment intensify as he charges this, one of his strongest techniques.

Technique Name: Destrozar (ravage, pull or tear apart)
Technique Description: Using the nature of his reiatsu against his opponent, Graven leaves a portion of it inside of his opponent after a successful attack. Once the reiatsu hits the target’s bloodstream, Graven rips it out violently, turning his opponent’s blood against him. This technique leaves severe lacerations along 20% of the body in most cases. Post count until activation is dependent upon the strength of Graven’s target, allowing a stronger opponent to resist or even break the bond between the reiatsu and his/her own blood. This ability takes 5 posts to cool down, and can be used instantly, provided that Graven’s previous attack hit.

Technique Effect Chart:

*The effect chart is for damage, durability, or any other after effect of a technique. The damage/effect/etc will be based off of tiers.*

Opponent is Two+ Tiers Lower: The reiatsu Graven leaves behind takes only 3 posts to reach the bloodstream, causing muscle spasms and bruises to form as it travels.
Opponent is One Tier Lower: The victim of this technique will begin to feel muscle soreness and light bruises running along the affected area, with Graven’s reiatsu reaching their bloodstream upon the 4th post from activation.
Opponent is Equal Tier: After 5 posts, the opponent will begin to feel a burning sensation as this technique reaches fruition. The damage done by the lacerations is average by this point, but still covers 20% of the target’s body.
Opponent is One Tier Higher: An enemy of this tier will feel a mild itch as the reishi inherent in their blood fights against Graven’s reiatsu for a full 6 posts, giving them a chance to break free of the technique, provided they are willing to cut their own wrists to let the infected blood out.
Opponent is Two+ Tiers Higher: Against someone of this tier, Graven will be hard-pressed to make sure his reiatsu gets to the opponent’s bloodstream to use this technique, taking 8 posts to force enough of it in. The damage done is average, spread across 15% of the target’s body. Someone of this tier can break the bond between the reiatsu and their own blood with some effort, needing to concentrate enough of their own reiatsu into their blood to cancel out the effect.

Now it was getting interesting, Kuroi was quite saddened that it had to end so soon due to his damaged body but he wasn't going to let Graven win without a challenge. His blade only scratched the surface of Graven's Hierro, it sounded as though he had scratched a chalk board and as the wolf came to bear down upon him he used the wrist blade to counter and strangely Kuroi began to seem faster than usual he was able to block an dodge almost all of the attacks although many of Graven's light hits would land and inflict damage upon him. He knew this would have to end soon, the mist was fading and he would so be visible again.

Here we go, moving back for a few seconds Kuroi fired his wrist blade as a projectile at Graven's arm although then he ejected twin katana from his wrist slits. Time to prove why he is known a the Black Swordsman. Kuroi used sonido to bear down on the Primera and would begin to engage in combat. If Graven joined in this they would match blow for blow and as the mist cleared the two strongest Espada would be dancing over the blood stained sand with elegant slashes and attacks while the other blocked. It was amazing to think that he was currently fighting on par with Graven but his resurreccion was almost unable to be sustained and the impending thought of his loss was still there, Graven was giving all of his power into a final attempt to show the lesser espada his position as the Beta. Not the Alpha, Cero Lluvia was almost done, in one final attempt to prevent the cero Kuroi would feign with his right hand and spin around to Graven's back quickly. With a final stroke he brought both blades down on the alpha wolf's tail which was charging the cero to hopefully cut it off. A cruel move yes but it would always regenerate next time the wolf used his resurreccion, was it tactical choice or survival which made Kuroi attack Graven's tail. What did it matter?

With a grim expression on is face, Graven began to block and parry the attacks being thrown at him, returning with ones of his own. The mist had dissipated for the most part, leaving Kuroi exposed as they fought. The blade sent at his arm had been ineffective, as the first time the trick had worked was out of a sense of surprise, leaving the second to scrape harmlessly across his Hierro at he deflected it. Now that he could see that the blades Kuroi was producing came from the wrists, it was easy enough to deduce that he could do so at his leisure, making the amount of blades he could produce nearly infinite.

Making a feint at his right, Kuroi spun around him and swung downwards with both swords, most likely attempting to slice off his tail. A "dick" move, if Graven's knowledge of human slang was correct. Spinning, Graven would catch one of the blades in his claws, breaking it in half while letting the other strike the sand. Using Sonido, he would get above his opponent and off to one side for maximum impact with his next blow. Flicking his tail, he would fire off Cero Iluvia with zero prejudice, not caring whether or not it struck Los Noches at this point.

The five Gran Rey Ceros that made up the technique spun and spiralled towards their target, each one with enough force to end the fight. Hope had died, leaving only pain and suffering as the blood-red attack bore down upon Kuroi. They would explode with all the force of a nuke once they hit, a large mushroom cloud extending and the shockwave of reiatsu ruffling Graven as he watched. As the dust settled, he would fire off a pair of Ceros, one after the other, at the man, adjusting depending on where or if he moved. Once this was done, Graven would use Sonido to stop before the man, punching outward with his right hand to impale Kuroi in the hollow of the throat, where his own Hollow Hole was. He was the Primera, and Kuroi best not forget it.
