Dear Members,

You should be aware that, like any other site, Bleach Story has rules and regulations that are there to keep the site fun and clean. And you should also know that there are some unworthy beings who do not follow these rules and get themselves baned from the site.

In this thread, you'll find our banning/warning policy--what you can potentially be banned or otherwise warned/punished for, and how long that punishment might be. This thread is here to ensure that things stay fair, and everyone gets treated the same way.

The main way staff look at a rulebreak is they view the motive. Motives are quite obvious and this will avoid people being wrongly punished. If a member is attempting to take a jab at someone, for example, but hides the jab a passive aggressive post, they could potentially be punished after staff discussion. The same goes for godmoding, advertising, etc. We will be looking for the motive to why the member broke the rule. Accidents will be given a warning but likely will not be repeated. Strong motives and 'trying' to break the rules can potentially be temp/perma banned.

Bleach Story Warning Bar/Banning Policy

Excessive Spamming:

First Offense: Warning
Second Offense: 10 warning bar points
Third Offense: 2 day ban (particularly if the user is aware that they are spamming and continues to do so anyway)
Fourth Offense:  1 week ban
Fifth Offense: 2 week ban, and so on.

Flaming/Trolling/Rudeness:

First Offense: Warning
Second Offense: 15 warning bar points and warning.
Third Offense: Ten day ban
Fourth Offense: 2-3 week ban
Fifth Offense: 1-2 month ban
Sixth Offense: Permanent ban
** All permanent bans are looked into after a mandatory six month period. Staff will debate whether it is wise to unban you or not, depending on what you did. This is only for things outside of porn. If the decision is made to keep you banned, it will be brought up again in another six months, and so on.

Posting Porn:

Posting porn anywhere in any section will get you an automatic permanent ban.

Multiple Accounts[/b]

9 out of 10 times, dupe accounts are used for ban evasion, rep abuse, cheating in forum polls , or some other form of questionable activity; therefore, the accounts shall get a permanent ban all dupe accounts. Double accounts for extra characters are fine, but any abuse will get extra accounts banned.

Powerplaying/Godmoding/Meta-gaming:
Things are handled a bit differently in this scenario, since battle type rps are quite frequent, the probability of these offenses is extremely high and we're aware of it.
First offense: The thread master has to handle the situation and ask the member to alter his post, removing the parts that comprise of such offenses.
Second Offense: If the member refuses to alter the post or the thread master is ignored, misbehaved with, or just plain out flamed/defamed then that qualifies as the second offense. Now a staffer get's to step in and take control of the situation. By taking control means voiding the part that needs to be voided and posting the alteration in the thread.
Third Offense: When the member continues to void what the staffer and the thread master have pointed out and attempts to ignore or void what the staffer has stated then that qualifies as the third offense. In which case the member gets 15 warning bar points and is removed from the thread.
Fourth Offense: If the member makes a fuss about the situation complaining and stating things that are baseless and offends either one of the thread master or the staffer, that becomes the fourth offense. This warrants a cool down ban for a week.
Discussing logically and arguing your thoughts in accordance to the rules doesn't qualify as an offense. As long as things remain civil, one can ask for explanations to better understand the situation.

Mini-modding:
First Offense: 10 Warning bar points
Second Offense: 15 Warning bar points
Third Offense: 3 days Ban
Fourth Offense: A week Ban
Fifth Offense: A month Ban
Sixth Offense: 6 months ban or permanent ban

P.S: The warning bar is located on your profile and only Mods and Admins can give you warnings.

Added in a new aspect to the Banning Policies to avoid unfair bans/warnings.

The main way staffers look at a rulebreak is they view the motive. Strong motives and 'trying' to break the rules can potentially initiate temp/perma banned.
