As Epizon swung with his might, he wasn't expecting to hit the hollow. He just wanted to step in before the hollow got in range of Sada, but it did hit, and the strength he had put in his attack was strong enough to crack the skull of the hollow. Dissolving the hollow into thin air. They had finally managed to take down, and with the exception of one casualty, there weren't any other. Even though the human appeared to be a nuisance. It was quite clear that she was capable of holding her own. Very capable indeed. Not a team worker though, but still this thing that they did which could almost be categorized as team work. Had managed to save lives, with of coarse a few financial losses. That would easily be counted as collateral damage. They were heroes. But before any of them could breath a sigh of relief.

A barrier began to prorate. Epizon noticing visual area around them being covered, it appeared they were being surrounded by some barrier, he thought of grabbing Sada and making a run for it. But before he could do so, the barrier closed. ('Curses!')

Though Epizon hadn't thought about it for some time, he still hadn't been able to find out who was behind the hollow. It was a part of the task assigned to him to find out the reason behind the hollow acting differently in their usual manner. And from the looks of things he was just about to find out. The smile that had appeared on Epizon's face right after he delivered the fatal blow to the hollow, vanished.

Standing beside the hollow, Epizon heard Sada calling out to the voice who had just addressed them. It sounded like someone had laid a trap to catch a shinigami. "Catch a shinigami?" Why would someone do that? Hollows being equivalent to mindless brutes, wouldn't be able to do something of the sort. Make a diversion and then set up a trap. It appeared to be the works of something smarter, stronger. More like something along the lines of an adjuchas or an arrancar. He let Sada take care of the provoking part. While he looked around to find a way out of the barrier. He was about to retract his shikai, but it appeared he might just end up using it once more.

As Sada attempted to check the barrier physically, Epizon using a hand gesture and a facial expression that cried out, "Don't do that. You don't know where it's been!!" tried to tell her that it might not be a good idea. It seemed that the hollow might prove to be the least of their worries. He prepared himself mentally to face this new enemy. First turning his gaze to the human, as if asking "to trust him with his attack plan" and then he turned his gaze at Sada, as if asking her for her support as she had done from the start of the mission.

As she neared, she could see it clearly. The Hollow lie still on the ground, it’s mask shattered, it’s body bloodied and broken. Before long, it gave up the ghost. It’s body dissolved, waning away as if it had never existed to begin with. With the monster vanquished and each and every soul making up its existence returned to the cycle of transmigration, this was a victory for each of them. Yet… why didn’t it feel like it was over? What was this strange feeling of foreboding she felt as she neared the fading husk? Amidst the breeze and the fluttering reishi, a box became visible It was small and gray, rather dull in design. With a discreet “thud”, it fell into the grass. It folded apart, dazzling green light shining outward from the center. The light spread outward at a brisk pace, the light rushing past Remy and the others and solidifying into a tasteless world marked with smooth, featureless shades of grey. As it would seem, they were locked away from the outside world, at the mercy of a man far beyond their reach, a man who spoke fondly of his handiwork, just like a hunter sizing up the latest prey ensnared within his carefully crafted trap.

Our token fullbringer audibly groaned, her face crashing into her palm. Of course there was going to be some nefarious mastermind pulling the strings, gifting this hollow power beyond the norm, directing its action, giving it meaning, a purpose. It was a pawn, a distraction that forced them into action. Then when everything was said and done, everyone has relaxed their guard, and the fanfare was beginning to play, this ridiculous debacle comes to fruition. As she carefully and delicately ceased the act of facepalming to at least try to assess the situation, the female shinigami spoke to her in hopes that she would pull out the “Miracle Mallet.” To this, Remy shrugged, answering her request with an uninspired "Hm." It was a charming idea, cute really. It’s just too bad that the so called “Miracle Mallet” didn’t function that way. That aside, now what could they do?  Well for one, mocking and threatening a foe unseen and unchallengeable was fairly pointless, especially when said foe unseen has them by the short hairs. This was a barrier and from the looks of it, an impressive one. Brute force would likely be a waste, considering how unconcerned that disembodied voice sounded. Perhaps the answer was within the little secret she held tucked away within her blazer.

The inconspicuous Photo I.D hovering just under her breasts quivered, sensing the ambient energy surrounding them. Yes, The Diplomat. It was that miraculous item that allowed Remy to manipulate reality, to shift tides within her favor, to make possible the impossible, protecting herself and her belongings from that which affected them adversely. It had rules however… one of which restricted its ability to negate offensive actions taken against her by opponents beyond her own strength. But in the face of barriers, prisons, shields, restrictive forces, The Diplomat had no boundaries or limitations. The Diplomatic Immunity she gained would in theory, allow her to simply walk out from the barrier without a hitch. Well… in theory. There were always circumstances to consider. The Diplomat required Remy’s reiryoku to function and perform. To negate something of great power, an equal measure of her own power was required. If she were to walk out and luck wasn’t on her side, she could expend a ridiculous amount of reiryoku, weaken herself greatly, and then get picked off by what was waiting beyond the ward. And… she needed to see if she could pass through to begin with.

The Diplomat pulsed as if it understood Remy's intent. Right, she had to do it quickly, stealthily, unnoticed by those around her. Her arms laid to rest at her sides and Remy channeled her reiatsu into one of the many strands of hair she had hidden away within her left sleeve, willing it to creep down into her awaiting fingers. Green energy pulsed throughout the curl, straightening it. It became obscenely rigid and infallibly sharp: a senbon made from scratch, protruding slightly from within the sleeve. With a casual air and tiny flick of the finger, she sent it flying from her left flank, timed with Sada's prods and pokes to the best of her measure, sailing directly at the barrier. If The Diplomat held true, her own hair should be able to pass through the barrier and draw a small amount of her reiryoku from her body.  Upon measuring how much she used with that projectile, she could measure around how much energy it would take for her to leave their prison. If it didn’t work, well she would be exposed but... it would be a learning experience to the natural of the barrier perhaps. Well, hopefully it was that simple. If anything, she at least prepared herself to work with both Sada and Epizon again. She had a feeling she would need all the help she could get.

Remy's Hammer in use [Three turns left]:
Technique Name: The Diplomat
Type: Various
Technique Description: The Diplomat made for some interesting and memorable battle sequences during the third quarter of the series. It provided an unusual sort of defense so long as Lupi had managed to score a hit on his opponent. Its special effect is activated upon striking an opponent directly The Diplomat upon meeting its condition then transforms into a small flip-top passport separated by two sections: from the top and then, the bottom half, hovering precariously next to Remy, keeping up with her every movement.  The top half displays documentation that reveals Remy's status as a quote on quote "Diplomat". The bottom half is simply identification that displays Remy's name, height, weight, birth, martial status, and has a neat little photo of her face. When Remy faces something that would affect her or her equipment adversely, the passport flips open to reveal the documentation and I.D. When this occurs, Remy and her belongings are granted the "Diplomatic Immunity" status. It is then by paying 3/4's of the energy it takes to use an ability for example, she gains immunity to its effects. Attacks such as Cero for example will be negated upon impact. Poison will simply not affect her. Physical attacks can be negated if they are "simple" attacks. (I.E, the average blade stroke) Otherwise, special techniques that have costs will follow the rules as laid out. Environmental Hazards, effects, and other such things are treated as "Free Radicals" and thus, the cost to negate them is negligible. The Diplomat only blocks attacks from individuals up to one tier above her own and is only capable of negating four negative events per post.

Though The Diplomat is an automated defensive option and will activate when facing an attack that Remy has not detected personally, Remy's subconscious does affect its performance and its activation. This is so she doesn't waste energy negating an event she could have voided, evaded, or stopped herself. While it can be used freely, other abilities that require more taxing amounts of reiatsu (i.e. the special ability of another hammer) will instantly disrupt its abilities and disengage the mode change. Likewise, utilizing The Diplomat for over four posts will automatically disengage it and force the individual charm into the "200% Break" status. If another hammer's special ability was utilized during the time in which The Diplomat was in use, both The Diplomat and the other hammer utilized are instantly disengaged and granted the "200% Break" status. If it is willfully disengaged, The Diplomat is merely granted the "100% Break" status.

As the various trapped victims probed the edge of the barrier they would find that they were able to easily pass through it. In fact, there was no resistance at all. For a trap, this wasn't very escape proof. But there was definitely something different about everything inside the barrier. A closer inspection would reveal that all the buildings inside the barrier weren't made of physical matter like those outside. Instead, it was all made of reishi meaning this was clearly a spiritual construction. "My, my, that wont do. If you leave then my experiment will have gone to waste..." Said the voice from before, only now it did not echo around endlessly, it was coming from a side of the barrier that none of the others were on.

Walking in through the green precipice of barrier was a smiling arrancar with dark skin and middle eastern clothing. He was hiding his reiatsu so it was hard to gauge his "true" strength, but he seemed to be about as strong as everyone else present. "and I even stole this thing for your sake so we wouldn't have to involve the humans...oh well, looks like I'll just have to hold hostages." The arrancar held out his hand and aimed it at a building nearby that was fully inside the barrier. The half-hollow swiftly fired a bala at a the structure...then another...then another. The building fell and crumbled into rubble and debris as Shalishar threatened the team of spiritual warriors, "This barrier makes a sub-dimension and then copies the surroundings. It was made so shinigami like you could fight without hurting the world around them. But if I were to destroy that box..." Shalishar nodded to the box which was still unfolded into the shape of a cross, "All the damage done inside the barrier will be reflected onto the world outside the barrier. Wanna guess how many people would die if I destroyed this entire block and then broke the barrier? You're welcome to leave and find out..." The arrancar asked with a bit of sweetness to his voice in stark contrast to the meaning behind his words. There were a good two dozen buildings inside the barrier and among them, many would be highly populated at this time of day.

How would the shinigami and fullbringer respond to this danger? It still wasn't clear what exactly Shalishar wanted, but he wasn't making any violent moves towards them just yet...aside from threatening them with the lives of many innocents should they try to leave prematurely.

Used this post...and last post:

Item name: Spatial Stasis Box
Description: A small black box roughly 1inch x 1inch x 1inch. When activated the cube unfolds leaving a cross shaped mark on the surface it is on. This then causes a larger cube 1km x 1km x 1km to form with the device at it's center. The formation of this cube makes the air shimmer for a moment but is otherwise visually unnoticeable.
Effect: The field the cube generates looks for spiritually aware and powerful beings and creates a pocket dimension that copies the physical surroundings. Only spiritual beings can enter the field. While inside the field, any damage dealt to the environment will not be reflected onto the original location that the pocket dimension was created. If the box is destroyed however, all damage done to the environment will be instantly dealt to the original dimension as the field collapses. It is possible to sense spiritual signatures from within and from outside the field and only serves one purpose. Keeping non-spiritual humans from being dragged into spiritual conflicts through collateral damage.
Number of it you have/possible/allowed: 3
History: This item was invented to allow forces in the world of the living to handle spiritual threats without having to worry about the safety of innocent lives. Shalishar stole one from Yuusuke Kagamine, it's creator.

As the blade of Sada's spear connected with the edge of the barrier, she noticed Epizon signing to her to be careful about touching it. The Shinigami girl nodded as she drew her weapon away from the barrier. Although, something was off. Whatever the barrier was, it seemed intangible. In essence, the three were not prisoners. Sada was about opening her mouth to inform the odd group of her findings, when the voice that had spoken came again, this time from a particular locus. Sada turned to see a dark human figure dressed in Arabianesque clothes walk through the barrier. He was shielding his reiatsu from being felt, so she couldn't gauge his strength accurately. But if he would dare to attempt to catch not one, but two Shinigami, and high-level ones at that, underestimating him could prove fatal. From his words, it seemed the three were prisoners of a sort, even if it wasn't physically.

"It's so cute when you Arrancar pretend to have a care for the humans... uh, what do I call you, Hassan?" Sada said, a calm expression on her face, although she was as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof. "What do you really want? I'm sure it's not an autograph. But if we could just get to signing papers and leave, that would really be grand. Don't you agree with me, Hassan-kun?"

Epizon was relieved when Sada complied with his request to not to temper with the barrier. It appeared that she was about to say something, when the sound from beyond came once more. This time, the sound added a visual image to it as well. An arrancar with an annoying smile entered the barrier. Epizon thought of launching a direct attack right away, but it was still too soon. He didn't know anything about the barrier and what would happen if he attacked. It appeared Sada's taunt might've worked, or maybe the arrancar intended to enter the barrier.

As the arrancar explained the details of the barrier. And launched two ballas, which Epizon attempted to intercept, but couldn't due to the speed of the technique. Enraged, Epizon turned to the arrancar, as he explained the working of the box. It appeared that the damage done hadn't affected the real world but, if the barrier was closed it would do the damage. Resulting in the deaths of hundreds of people that would be present in the building since it was the mid of the day.

('Tch..!') If they liked it or not, this team now needed to figure out what to do. The priority of Epizon was simple, take out the bad guy save the innocent people. But, what if he attempted to attack. If Shalishar released the barrier that would result in the loss of hundreds of lives. Somehow they needed to seal the affects of the box and take out Shalishar at the same time.

It was indeed convenient that they had a kido specialist with them. Epizon turned to Sada, "Can you do something about the box?" Then he turned to the human, who had appeared to charge into the barrier before Shalishar had appeared. Though the appearance of Shalishar and the explanation of the box would have put a dent on that plan of hers. Epzion asked the human, "Could you please help her with this?" Then his gaze turned to the arrancar, it was quite obvious what he intended to do.

Tightening his grip on his zanpakuto, Epizon almost shouting, "Come on, let's see what you can really do besides attacking defenseless souls." It was an attempt to provoke Shalishar into fighting Epizon, if that worked Epizon would engage Shalishar right after he took the bait. Epizon would move in a manner that would put Shalishar in range of the technique of Epizon, named "lightening pillar". That way he would be able to stun Shalishar, providing Sada and Remy the opening to neutralize the barrier.

If Shalishar didn't take the bait, Epizon would need to think of a different strategy to turn his attention away from the barrier and to him. He didn't knew what Shalishar was capable of but he was sure that if it turned into a battle, he would be able to hold Shalishar at bay long enough for the two to find a solution to the box and save innocent lives.

Hassan…

That single word resonated within Remy’s mind. Nostalgic is what it was; it brought back memories of days long past, took her back to those early mornings she spent under her mother's tutelage with her nose hinge deep in the books. Though the single hair she had tossed had past though the barrier, she soon saw that it did not matter. Anyone could come and go as they pleased. Her attention turned to the tan fellow clad in middle eastern garb. The man before their eyes appeared warm and inviting, every bit as handsome as Sada’s choice of words had implied. His smile was alluring, his voice tender, gentle, compassionate. But his words… he spoke them with the sliding, chilling terror of rusted blades slicing her skin. He said them with the piercing twinge of tinfoil on a tooth. His words… carried an ungainly sense of weight within them, a great weight; a sense of pressure that forced itself into the barrier, heaving itself at her. A cold sweat… She could feel it seeping out of her pores, matting the collar of her shirt against her neck. Her mouth felt dry.  This was it. It was fear; fear that threatened to fill her, that wanted to gag her, send her scuddling across the ground like a cockroach.

It was a fear that closed in on her at all sides, urging her to go away quickly and hide. What the hell...? This man was suppressing his reiatsu. He was carefully moderating what little pressure did filter out from his presence. This wasn't killing intent that was prodding at her psyche, forcing emotions to bubble up and ooze into the surface. It wasn't like her to shrink back like this. She had seen horrible things, fought creatures that defied comprehension and logic. In the face of them, she had never questioned her resolve, her reiatsu had never wavered… not like this. But looking at this man and observing his actions, she began to understand why. This fear welling up within her chest was subconscious, a realization of what was standing before them. A man who hunted and picked apart countless lives, a vile being who manipulated and exploited. Empty and cold hearted, he felt nothing; nothing save for the amusement he felt from all of this. He had them and he knew it. Yes. His was an ugliness she had never faced before, a monster that did not possess the senseless, mindless insanity of a hollow.

What they were facing was a madman unhindered by mindless hunger; a cold and calculating monster... a sociopath, plain and simple. At Epizon’s bold words and his request, Remy only placed a cold, uneasy, clammy hand on his shoulder, voicing her disapproval with the solemn shaking of her head from side to side. “Stop.” She voiced. ”Listen first.” This fellow was too confident, too lax to begin with. It felt as if even if they had moved to defend the box, they would fail. That's how it played out within her mind's eye. The psychological barrier crafted around them left her no choice. They had to be careful, play this by ear, see what this man wanted from them before reacting. Too many lives were in the balance. There was no room for error, no leeway, no openings she could discern from this man’s unguarded poise. She would observe and wait, gauge the situation, go from there. "After I move, I'll trust you to follow up." She muttered.

The arrancar seemed quite please with himself when Iro spoke up first, "Care for the humans? My dear beauty, it's in consideration for you~ I could have left the barrier at home you know. You should be thankful!" The back talk was almost childish, but the way Shalishar delivered it would almost be endearing as he shot Iro a handsome smile. This satisfied smile turned to a grin as Epizon quickly made a request of his two allies and called Shalishar on to fight only to be stopped by the female human who was with him, "Ah~ At least the human has a head on her. You're not too bright are you "Mr. Leader-san" Although I will give you credit for telling the kidou specialist to protect the box. I never had any intention of destroying it in the first place so long as you stay here and listen to my request." Shalishar spread his palms open to show that he wasn't hiding anything, but behind his eyes and trustworthy smile was a monster.

"I've made a bet with someone, you see? The details are none of your business but long story short, I just want you all to fight me. So there is no need for two of you to waste your time protecting that silly box. I brought it so all of you would be able to fight to your hearts content!" The grin only got bigger as Shalishar let his arms fall to his sides only to be thrown up into the air ask he beckoned the trio to fight him, "Come on! You planned on killing me anyways, right!?"

OOC: Sorry, very tired...

_____________________________________________

"Are you kidding me?" Sada asked, her shock impossible to hide at the Arrancar's intention. Essentially, an enemy would feel better having two of his opponents involved with guarding, while only one was totally available to fight him. But here was this guy, asking all three to fight him. This was strange. The Arrancar had brought that box, and its purpose was to allow the Shinigami to fight him without having to bother about protecting humans. Strange as it was, the only logical thing to do was give the Arrancar what he wanted. His appearing to fight meant that he was much stronger than he let on, and it would be very unwise to fight recklessly without intelligent action.

"Well, I personally think you're a few cards short of the pack, mentally," Sada said, shaking her head. "But if what you want is a fight, there's no point in refusing you. Bakudou 63: Sajō Sabaku!" As Sada called, she clenched her fist, summoning a thick, bright yellow rope aimed to bind the Arrancar. Not more than a second's breath, and Sada twirled her naginata gracefully, slashing upwards in Shalishar's direction. "Hotaru Zanshin!" The released crescent wave was more of a reactionary tactic; it was aimed at the Arrancar to catch him if he moved to avoid the bakudou. And if the bakudou managed to catch him, all the better; it would be harder to dodge the Hotaru Zanshin.

Techniques and Kidou used:

Spell Name: Sajō Sabaku [Locking Bondage Stripes]
Spell Type: Bakudou
Spell Number: 63
Spell Incantation: N/A
Spell Effect: The practitioner, raising his/her palm up to the target, closes his/her hand into a fist. The user calls forth yellow energy, taking a form of very thick rope, which ensnares the opponent, similar to Bakudō No. 4, but much stronger, instead binding the upper body of the target.

Technique Name: Hotaru Zanshin [Firefly Cutting Spirit]
Technique Description: With a swing of Hotarubi, Tomoe releases a mote of light that flies in a singular direction and expands into a rapidly flying crescent wave that is capable of shearing through objects. Can be blocked with a blade. The Hotaru Zanshin would have been easy to dodge because of its linear dimension, but it makes up for this with its speed.
Lasts 1 post, cooldown of 2 posts.

Technique Effect Chart:

Opponent is Two+ Tiers Lower: Opponent may just be aware of a flicker, giving him little time to react to the wave, enough to block, but not dodge. Wave can cut deeply and cause severe trauma to an opponent, making fighting afterwards difficult. If the opponent manages to block it, he will be thrown back like a rag doll.
Opponent is One Tier Lower: Opponent will see a flash rather than a flicker, and can block it with difficulty. Wave can cut deeply and cause slight trauma. If the opponent blocks it, he will slide backwards about 6 meters.
Opponent is Equal Tier: Opponent will see the coming wave, but will not have too much time to dodge it. Wave can cause large lacerations. Opponent can block wave with a little difficulty, causing him to slide backwards about 3 meters.
Opponent is One Tier Higher: Opponent will be able to block the wave a bit easily, though he must not be too careless, or he will get cut. Dodging is more difficult. Wave causes long moderate cuts.
Opponent is Two+ Tiers Higher: Opponent will easily block the wave, or dodge with less ease. Should it hit, it will give long but shallow cuts.

Before Epizon could think of how to attack this new enemy, he felt the hand of this lady who had been giving him and Sada the cold shoulder. She only spoke a few words, but at the time, those words were the only thing that mattered. Since she had been working on her own by now, and not really talking or caring much about either of the shinigami, this sudden change in her behavior forced Epizon to reconsider his decision of charging blindly into a possible death.

"Mr.Leader San" The words echoed in Epizon's conscious.('Aren't you the arrogant one') This guy... he was really provoking Epizon into making a mistake and if he was alone, he might've fallen for it too. It was never his intention to direct the others, in his attempt protect the innocent souls whose lives were at stake. Just the thought of endangered lives just sent his system into panic. But, it was good that the others didn't do as he said, things would've gotten nasty.

Epzion was now returned to his usual self, calm and collected. The little lapse was of coarse a possible error, it happens to everyone doesn't it? Instead of a panicked rat in the corner, his gaze turned that of a predator. An evil grin like smile emerged on his face, since this wasn't a battle to protect anyone, it was, only, a battle.

As this new enemy revealed his intentions, Epizon was relieved for the fact that his intentions weren't to kill the lives of the people. At least that was the good part, but now, they were faced with a dilemma. This one guy, wanted to take on all three of them. Either he was a capable opponent, or he was just plain stupid. Whatever the case, that was about to be cleared soon enough. When he so boldly told all three of them to attack. Epizon was just ready to jump on to him like a wild animal, but he wasn't going to do that. No, he would wait, and analyze how things turn out. He would find the gaps, the openings, the opportunities to make his attack work and make a difference. This guy had boldly challenged three not so normal opponents, of coarse the situation demanded that it be dealt with extreme caution. Epizon might've lost it once, he wasn't going to .. again.

And besides, the first attack was launched already, by none other than Sada. Her long ranged fighting style would prove useful to keep him away from them, though it wasn't really clear what his fighting abilities or style was. For all they knew, he might as well turn out to be a long range fighter himself, which would be a total bummer for Epizon. Still, it seemed like a good strategy for now, and Epizon wasn't one to repeat his mistakes over and over again. He wasn't going to charge in without coordination, wasting not only his own attacks and reiatsu but also that of his comrade and possibly causing damage, yet again to another. This time, he stayed behind, so that he could counter any incoming attacks launched by Shalishar. Also if he tried to move in closer, Epizon would stand between him and Sada. Giving both Remy and Sada the opportunity to strike.

As Remy began to make her way to Shalishar, her intent was clear. She wasn't going to just stand there, it appeared she intended to take Shalishar up on her offer for all three of them to attack. Well, in that case, Epizon using shunpo, avoid Sada's attacks, began to make his way to Shalishar. He would make sure as to strike right after Remy so the damage she has done would provide some sort of opening. That would prove useful. As soon as Sada attacks, right then, after her blow, Epizon launches a synchronized attack. Appearing in front of Shalishar, swinging his hammer, in a upward arc, Epizon used as much strength as he could muster up. If the attack hit, it was capable of doing bone damage to an equivalently powered opponent, well Shalishar's strength wasn't known, but he was sure that it would do considerable damage.

So, what is fear to a martial artist?

Faced with it, Remy’s mind briefly mused upon this question, recalling the sole answer quite vividly. Fear is a detector; a power emotion that grants us a hypersensitivity to our surroundings. We train ourselves to recognize it; we hone our reflexes, our core instincts in an effort to claim it and make it our ally. In doing so, our greatest weakness becomes our most powerful asset. Four years of intense training and battles had hammered that mantra into the very fiber of her being. One does not “conquer” fear. To suppress your own instincts and emotion is self defeating in that respect. You acknowledge it, feel it, and accept it. In doing so, it strengthens you. Epizon need not say anything to her. He didn’t even have to look at her. She had gained insight as to what they were about to face. She understood that to fight alone would be suicide. The Diplomat was approaching its limit. She had to be swift, simple, decisive, direct. She knew the risks ahead of her. She didn't trust this man's words at all or the notion that he wouldn't touch the box. It didn't matter.

A chance had presented itself. There would only be one. She needed to do the unexpected. She had to surprise him by doing something so absurd, his reflexes would fail him, even for just a brief moment. In that frame, alongside Sada's attack, she could strike. She left his side within a flash throwing herself into the battle. Remy was fast. She appeared between her opponent and Sada from out of the blue. Her steps were blinding; they carried her in front of Sada’s straight and true crescent. Hotaru Zanshin had connected, of course. It sliced cleanly through her body like a hot knife through butter. The image of Remy’s body quivered momentary but she remained unharmed, untouched. She allowed the wave to continue past her without skipping a beat. As it did, a gray mallet had appeared within her fists in a green flash, rising, aiming. She would bet it all in a single blow to Shalishar’s head, the one place where even the untrained aimed to defend without warning. He would likely defend in someway or another. Maybe he would raise his hands in an effort to catch the blow. Maybe he would attempt to prove his superior strength in merely using his reiatsu to mitigate the damage.

All were options available to a man who sought to bring others to despair Such actions seemed to be in his character. But should he try, things may prove problematic for him. In the face of stronger opponents, The Diplomat faltered. By principle, any attack aimed towards her could not be negated in anyway. It would refuse to defend her; even if it meant certain death. But on the other hand, Remy knew a loophole within the conditions that governed it’s abilities. The Diplomat moved into action in the face of anything that affected her or her equipment in an undesirable way. For her hammer to be blocked for example? That would be undesirable to her intent to destroy. It would be undesirable to the sole purpose of her hammer’s attack. If even being blocked would produce stress and injury on herself or the weapon, even better. No matter how strong he was, if he sought to defend against the attack, even in the face of shielding or the act of flaring reiatsu, The Diplomat would rewrite reality to grant her favor. It would negate his defense, treat this single attack with the understanding that he had been caught cold; that he was completely off guard. But of course, only time would tell and after this action was carried out, She would have no choice but to seal The Diplomat and draw another weapon.

Ability Used (Last Post Left):
Technique Name: The Diplomat
Type: Defensive
Charm: This charm is set against an orange backdrop.
The bottom half is simply identification that displays Remy's name, height, weight, birth, marital status, and has a neat little photo of her face.

This is so she doesn't waste energy negating an attack she could have evaded or stopped herself. If it is willfully disengaged, it is merely granted the "100% Break" status.
