Zanpakuto's Inner World:
Chikai is the finally realized peaceful side of Hachiro that was kept from his years of brutal battle. The inner world of Chikai is a large Bamboo forest filled with thousands of plants, and all of which have a single red ribbon tied to each to signify every kill he had committed as a living person. Attached to each ribbon is a large gourd of sake, showing his inner peace with a drink. The flooring is unusual as it has no grass, and is a solid rice-wooden floor that goes on for what feels like eternity. The floor has several tables set up on it, and cushions to sit down on. This is his meditative world. As you venture further into the world it begins to change, it growing from a peaceful world into a snow hardened, and blood-shed styled look. This entering his aggressive side, a side that he has chosen to ignore unless placed into one of five situations. One being when someone he chosen to care about becomes into danger, two is when he has nothing left to lose, and three is when he has begun to feel the urge for blood shed once more. The last two reasons are unknown. Once you enter this world, you mind becomes blind with rage, the thought of death, and you suddenly lose all fear. Showing not the slightest difference between life, and death. The true meaning of Bushido.

Further into his world, you come to a single lake with a large water-fall, this being his center-peace, and most secretive world. The water is actually pure-100% sake, and is known to be potent enough to kill the drinker if not ready for this amount. The depths of it are actually made of stone, and goes down for nearly four miles before stopping. The water-fall is as high as forty buildings, and no-one has ever seen the top.

Zanpakuto's Inner Appearance:
Chikai is the very foundation of Hachiro's sheer bliss. Chikai is a large wooden bear-dummy. He is a total of nine feet tall, and weighs nearly five tons in total weight. He is unable to move but has a incredible, and highly intelligent mindset. This is a show of the weight that his peace brings to his soul, and is used as a memory of his past. Chikai is unable to speak through normal means, and only becomes sociable when the speaker is highly intoxicated. Chikai is known as The Great Wooden Panda but is actually in the shape of a common Brown Bear. He has no eyes, and only has a single tooth made out of a rare gold, he is indented with thousands of silver beads blessed by his lord.

Appearance Info

Appearance:
Hachiro is a some what tallish man with average skin, not overly silky or smooth, and not too hardy, and rough. During his life time, he was a highly trained Bushido Practitioner, and it shows easily in his after life. He is roughly six feet in height, and has very few scars covering his body. The only truly notable wound is his left eye which is constantly covered up with a white bandage. The reason for this is unknown. He however lacks the usual Japanese Heritage you would think someone like him would have, and instead behaves more like a foreigner then his own nationality. His one see-able eye is a dark blue in color, and changes once he grows into a rage to a darkened crimson red. He has shaggy black hair which goes down to just past his ears, and often covers his face.

He has no known piercings or tattoos but keeps a special one hidden from view, as it proves his royal lineage, and serves as a insult to his very life. On his back, and under his clothing is a large dragon head eating a lone Samurai whilst its lord watches in amusement. This being a unknown symbol, but serves as a royal birthmark. He has no other known differences.

He often wears a casual Kimono when off of duty, and uses a basic unaltered Shihakushō. However he wears a large mantle cloak over the shoulders of it, and hides his weapon underneath the large item. It reaches as far down as his ankles, and can wrap around his body multiple times before being tied off. It is held into place with a large rope belt, with several beads, and a unusual clip around the neck. It is a solid black-brown in color, and the rope is a dark yellow-red. The length of the rope belt seems to alter according to usage.

His casual dress also known as the Dragons Robe, is his preferred fighting outfit as it was in his real life. Its nothing more then a brightly colored Kimono, and has several blades of grass armor along the length of the arms, and legs. Its extremely light-weight, and can easily be removed without much effort. Its nearly as long as his ankles, and goes down to his elbows on a single side before finishing to his wrist on the other. Along his waist is a single belt with a gourd on it, known to contain Sake strong enough to drop most men. Along with his gourd, he has a long pipe that is never removed from his mouth. Its about a foot in length, and carries a powerful pain killer.

Techniques

Technique Name: Sensei no sutairu - daburu hasai
Description: This technique has a forbidden usage by Hachiro, in order to perform this technique. He first focuses a sum of spiritual energy into a single hand or arm, and then simply strikes at the target. Once struck, he then pulls his hand back, and swings once more. This technique is extremely powerful in forceful movement but is a straight-forward swing that is easily dodge-able if the target is a higher tier. If the connected target is of a lower tier, or lesser spiritual power. This attack can be devastating.

Technique Name: Sensei sutairu - hasai sukai
Description: This technique is on the same basics as the above one, and uses the legs into a dropping motion in order for the attack to work. Once the user has a position, they leap into the air, and bring down their leg onto the target. Once more focusing a sum of spiritual power into the lower levels, this attack is easily dodged if the target is of a higher tier, but can be devastating for anyone of a lesser tier or spiritual power. This attack is known to create craters of impact due to the brute nature of the attack.

Technique Name: Sensei sutairu - chiratsuki sutoraiku
Description: This technique features speed over power, and is nothing more then a extremely rapid barrage of punches or kicks to a target. The user first changes a soft amount of spiritual energy into their body, and quickly rushes the target. Just as they are about to enter striking range, they drop down, and hit the floor. Using this as a moment of confusion as quickly as they hit the floor, they roll, and launch back up to strike at the target. This is most commonly used from the front or side. The nature of this attack makes it even so higher tier combatants may not understand what happened, making it have a unpredictable pattern, and increases the chance of striking a target. Though this may do little to no damage unlike if the target was weaker.

Technique Name: Sensei sutairu - chiratsuki suteppu
Description: This is a technique that features quickened movement instead of straight forward attacking. First the user performs a basic Flash Step or Shunpo movement, once performed they move forward at the target but curve the movement so that they come around to the side. Once in range, they bring their leg up against the target, and attempt to dig it into them before wrapping their arm around the neck, and pulling them back in order to slam them against the ground. If the first attack hits, the second movement usually has a high success rate.

Description: This technique is the perfect offensive move, it features adding immense levels of spiritual pressure into the palm at a single point, and upon impact releasing the full blow of it against the target. This technique is devastating even against high-tier opponents, and can become lethal to those at a much lower level. This technique takes a moment to prepare so it is often seen as a open palm in a prayer stance, once it has been charged you can see the after-mass as it glows a solid white, with several jagged waves flowing from it. This technique upon impact explodes forward into a flare of white fire, and then spreads away. It leaves a soft burn mark, and can send a target fluttering away through several objects.

Shikai Appearance:
Chikai is in a constant released state, and this is the most commonly seen form for it. It is a six foot long quarter-staff made out of a unusually thick wood, along the length of it are several small ribbons, and a single large circular metal connective piece at the end. Much like a monk's staff, attached to that are three chains with gourds attached firmly to the item. The entire length of the wood is nothing more then a finely polished black-jet, and has several connective pieces are three, four, and five feet made of thick rope wrapped around the edges. The chains connecting to the gourds look like red ribbons but are specially made metal ties, and the circular piece is a golden-silver metal. The gourds are the size of a water-melon, and are extremely heavy despite their appearance. Inside are several litters of pure-sake, which is known as a Man-killer. It is a firm green-brown, and appears as if it was water. The gourds have red ribbon tied around the center-knot, and flails in the wind when blown.

Shikai Ability:
- 天国のビーズ / Heavenly Beads
- The Chikai-staff is a staff that has a hollow middle, filled with thousands of small silver beads called Rosary. These are as small as a simple house marble, and made with a heavy silver capable of channeling several levels of Reiatsu. The entire middle-line is known to be filled with these, as-well as a gourd resting at the top of the staff. These are commonly used to deflect, and change the direction of incoming attacks, and are usually used to defend team-mates or Hachiro in a extreme situation. They serve another propose that have yet to be seen, but are capable of growing in size to become offensive weapons able to seal targets in place, cause high levels of destruction, and attack several targets at once.
- 天国のドリンク / Heavenly Drink
- This is the secondary ability of the Chikai-staff, and is also known as the Heavenly Drunk. The two remaining gourds of the staff, carry a very potent Sake known to be capable of healing wounds, and restoring levels of spiritual energy. Making it a highly usable item, but it carries with it a cost like most items in Hachiros possession. Once consumed the user begins to feel the effects, and are restored to a portion of spiritual energy, and healing compared to the amount consumed. One drink, allows the user to heal minor wounds, and to restore ten percent of their lost spiritual power. At two drinks the user can heal deep cuts, and fifteen percent of their lost spiritual power, and three also known as the final consume can heal deep cuts, and twenty percent of lost energy. Once the first drink has been taken, the user feels dizzy, and light headed, at the second drink they feel sluggish, and physically weaker then normal, and at the final drink they pass-out, and stay out for a hour or more.

Technique Name: 九神のゲート - トータルライフのバリア l Nine Divine Gates - Barrier of Total Life
Description: This is the ultimate defensive technique of the Chikai-staff, and calls upon nine beads made of pure silver infused with the users Spiritual Power. This technique spreads the beads around the target, and quickly forms a large image of a dragon within the contained area. Once forced it expands into a golden light capable of blocking techniques up to a number 50-rank in Kido. This affected range is that of twenty meters, and can be shortened when needed. The image of the dragon is formed from spiritual linking, and spreads up to thirty meters for show. It is a solid-gold in color, and the same as his hidden Tattoo.

- Can Block up to one 40-50 technique, two 30-40 technique, and three 0-30 techniques before ending or when it is ended by the user.

Technique Name: 九神ゲイツ - 光の千ビーズ l Nine Divine Gates - Thousand Beads of Light
Description: Nine Divine Gates - Thousand Beads of Light is a technique that focuses on the offensive style of the Rosary beads, and is used by channeling small levels of Reiatsu around each one before launching them out from the base of the Chikai-staff. Once launched from the staff, they form into a spread formation, and fly through the air at the speed of a average hand-gun round. Making them quick, and hard to avoid. However, once a target has been struck it forms a small seal on the impacted area that allows the user to find their location within a nine-hundred foot radius.

Technique Name: 九神のゲート - ハリケーンビーズ l Nine Divine Gates - Hurricane Beads
Description: This technique focuses on both offensive, and defensive properties of the Rosary-beads, and is used to both defend, and attack a target. Once the Reiatsu has been changed into the beads that are going to be used, Hachiro releases them from the Chikai-staff, and allows them to flutter into the air. Once the target has been acquired, the beads then launch forward in a circular formation. If struck, even by a single one, the rest lock onto the target, and quickly follow the first. They continue to follow the target till they have been struck by the following beads, they are capable of going through multiple levels of buildings, walls, and many other objects. Once the target has been struck by at least 3/4th of the originally launched beads, they surround the target, and begin to restrict the target by growing in weight, and size. These can be used to slow the target down, disable them, and even crush them from above by increasing the launched beads sizes.

These can also be used to form a protective barrier in front of Hachiro, capable of negating a attack of Kido-40 power. Making it useful in the means of several techniques. The barrier is formed by increasing the size of the beads, and forming a large circular shield that once formed releases a extremely potent level of Reiatsu around the beads.

Technique Name: 九神のゲート - ビーズコントロール l Nine Divine Gates - Bead Control
Description: This is the manipulative ability to control the beads used by the Chikai-staff, allowing beads to be used singular or multiplicity, and contains the ability to increase both the size, weight, and the amount of Reiatsu around each one. Making each bead either a lethal weapon, or a defensive tool. While each bead is either offensive or defensive, a defensive bead is capable of blocking multiple level ten-kido powered techniques, or a single 10-30 technique by itself, how-ever each one requires a matching level of Reiatsu to block the technique, and each "lethal" offensive bead is the same power as a level twenty-powered Kido.

Personality:
- Hachiro is extremely carefree, and open about what he is thinking. To such a degree he can become annoyingly aggravating to people. Quick to speak against even a higher commanding officer, when his morals are inflicted by a order, and as easily as he can laze about he can quickly come into action. He is a known drinker, and smoker which doesn't care about how people respond about these habits. However it is known that while his pipe is lite, it is actually empty most of the time or filled with a powerful pain-killer that is used to dull his bodily pains. The Sake that he drinks is strong enough to drop most men, that are not use to the powerful potent effect. While he often seen lazing about or sleeping, he is also a constant trainer, and improves his body, and mind when no one is watching. While it appears he his sleeping, he is actually meditating on current affairs, and how he can improve himself. He is a free-thinker, and often thinks about ways he can aid his fellow brothers, and sisters of the Soul World.

- While he may seem like a wise-ass, he openly insults people, and just as quickly finds flaws about them giving him a huge edge in combat. He is a intelligent, and wise person that focuses on movement, how they speak, and what they do in order to judge a person. He is also extremely religious to a point where he prays every day, and even his Shikai has a strong moral for his beliefs. Upbringing

- In the year one thousand, one hundred, and eighty five a small boy was born to a high-class royal Japanese family. Current government based conditions insured that his next few years of life would become difficult, and his soul would be forced into the violent battles to come regardless of his lineage. Though for now, he was insured a spoiled life of luxury, and peace. A young lad named Hachiro was born to a royal family known as Koji, a family who influence controlled most of the land, and were direct decedents of the once legendary Samurai. Now nothing more then government-based political practitioners, and loyal followers of the new Shogun, and his laws. The only one of the family that still trained in the ancient arts were the eldest father of the house. The Grandfather, and soon to be Hachiro's favorite family member.

- As the young boy began to grow along with his two brothers, four sisters, and his aging grandfather he started to come into age where combat would become a possibility. As such his Grandfather Kyomi began his training from a early age, unlike his brothers, or sisters his life was destined for violence, and would most likely end with his death at a early age. This being the end for most new to the art of Bushido. He was only five years old, and given only a brief time of spoiled laziness, peace, and innocence. He was soon thrust into brutal training, following his Grandfather in the ways of the old. Spending days, upon days repeating the most basic fundamental techniques, his body pushed to limits that most would break out. Taught to fear nothing, taught to laugh at the face of death, taught to obey. He spent the next several years training with his Grandfather, and soon his abilities began to show themselves, while his brothers spoiled themselves with their endless money, he was made to fight for his very life. If even for a moment he slowed down, he was punished severely, and made to continue.

- Body damaged, mind shattered by the brutal methods, he continued for nearly three years of his life, once he turned eight years old, he was taken from his family, and placed into a mountain-shrine dojo, taking only the most gifted children into its mist. As quickly as he appeared to the new to be soon home, he earned his place through direct, and brutal combat with his only competition, a young boy known as Marijo, and in the future his killer but for now..lets keep it a surprise. Quickly he overcame his opponent because of his Grandfathers training methods, he was stronger, faster, more skilled, and more merciless than his target. This was the start of his new agenda, his new personality, and his new dedication. Once he earned his place, he spent the majority of his life training under a new Master. A man called Jun. Once his training began, he was quickly separated from the others, and placed into a singular training group that had direct training with Jun, a honor that he would never forget, and would only remember for the rest of his life. He was chosen from the others to become the best, and most dedicated practitioner.

- Hachiro spent the next ten years training with Jun, training to Master the Style, training to Master himself, and training to become the loyal solider of the Shogun. A personal solider, a man placed into slavery for the rest of his life. It didn't matter to him what became of his future, he only believed in the truth that to obtain peace, violence is key, and to obtain violence peace is needed. Given the best room, the best clothing, and the most freedom allowed. He had surpassed the others in his group, and had gained the honor of being Juns true student, a honor that was given only to the best swordsman in the school. He had spent the last ten years in endless training, sparring, and educational classes. Taught to not only become a Samurai but a Scholar as well, a profession he had chosen to honor because of the wisdom it obtained. Now a young man of eighteen, it was time to start his employ to the current power, and to prove he had what it took.

- Endlessly he woke in sweat, his dream about to come true, he was about to become as his Master before him had been, a Samurai. A man whom was bound by honor, skill, wisdom, power, and true excellence. He awoke the next day by his Masters voice, and was told to obtain all of his clothing, his possessions, and all items that he owned. It was time to go to the Palace, and time to prove his worth. It took several days to reach the gate of the large building, he had gone by horse-back, and he was swore because of it. He had rode many horses before but none for this long, and he was not use to the ride, the friction, and the pain it brought. As he reached the Gate, he was removed from his horse, and brought up what seemed like endless stairs. To face, his new Lord. The Shogun, a man whom was considered the single most skilled Swordsman in the country, a man whom he wanted to become one day. This was short-lived, as he entered the room he was forced into a arena to fight several young man bidding for his attention, his focus, his guidance, and the honor of being his guard. The first match, a young boy no older then Hachiro was against a man of at least forty. He had experience, he was bigger, stronger, faster then the young boy. As quickly as it started it was over, the younger-lad had been beaten to near death. Shaming his family, and his Master. Soon it was Hachiro's turn, and he was pitted against a young boy, the same age, and of the same Dojo. He was really no match for him, he was a insulting fight, and it was ended in a single blow, he had brought his hilt against his ribs, and dropped him to the ground. A few ribs broken most likely. Next the older man was once more against a younger lad, a man of at least twenty or more but still not as the older gentleman was. Quickly the older man brought his leg against his ribs, and forced him to the ground. The competition was growing more, and more slender. It was at twenty, but as time passed it eased down to a sheer three. Hachiro, the Older Man, and another Young Lad. It was decided into a three-way match, and as soon as it was decided, the Older Man was destined to win..or was he? The younger lad was brought into the earth in only moments, but Hachiro was different, he was more determined to win, he had skill, grace, and power. The fight grew aggressively, Hachiro delivered several blows to the older man, but took as many as he brought out. Several bones snapped, blood splattered against the ground, he was losing but choose to keep going. He came back at the man repeatedly, only to be beaten down. Showing a fierce loyal dedication to his Master Jun. The man got cocky, and let his guard down for only a moment, quickly he pounced, and brought the man to the ground with a sudden lift, and slam. Crushing him down onto his spine, and his neck. SNAP! Was all you heard as he crashed to the stone, his neck snapping with the connection. He had won, he had taken a life but he had won.


Training into a Killer

- Hachiro now a member of the royal guard, had earned his place among the famous swordsman of the court, and would soon become known as the most famous one of the lot. Quickly he grew under the attention of the Shoguns Generals, growing from a humble boy into a murderous loyal fighter, and soon he had become something else entirely. Turning from a peace-loving lad into a violent, aggressive, murderous, slaughterhouse fighter. As quickly as he was brought into the court, he had begun battles across the country. Just weeks after starting, he was sent to a town called Wei Lu, and had a mission to destroy the entire populace for aiding in a resistance, and soon to be new leaders of the government. It took several days to reach the location, and quickly they found themselves into a large ambush trap, the young lad showing his aggressive side due to sheer rage, he quickly snapped, and ordered the annihilation of the attacking force. At heavy loses, and a long battle, they managed to push back the ambushing force, and force them to retreat. Weakened, and battered due to the attack, he pushed forward to his destination, and what would become his first honor.

- Pushing into the small town, his army was greeted by a resistance force of nearly five hundred men, only given two hundred at the start, and losing nearly a hundred he was heavily outnumbered, and he knew he had to be smart about this. Leaving his Lieutenant in charge of gaining reinforcements, he sent him with ten men back to this palace while he dealt with the town. On the cover of night, he made his men fire dozens of fire-soaked arrows into the small village, and quickly he had them come from behind while a small entrapment of horseback soldiers rushed forward at the line. Using this as a distraction, and the fiery blaze of the arrows forced the defending group to cease in action, and surrender their forces without much of a fight. This becoming his first honored battle, and this quickly gave birth to his nickname, and alias. The Immortal General, Hachiro The Blood lust. The one victory came back to his Lord, and this quickly gave him higher, and higher rights among his men. Soon increasing him Military Focus to that of a Main General, and was rewarded with a additional five hundred men with a new order. To take over the sea-side town of Juniro. Once more he made his way towards the town, taking nearly a week to reach his destination. He was greeted with a large force of nearly one thousand soldiers, most farmers or sailors. Once he made it clear on his orders, the town quickly surrendered to avoid any blood-shed. However to make perfect example, he took several of the village elders, and their sons to the stand before brutally slaying them in clear view of the populace. To insure their surrender. This giving birth to a legend that Hachiro was a demon himself, with no morals, and no code of honor.

- Once more he was granted additional troops, praise, and was given a home, and land of his own for when he returned. Though as quickly as he took over Juniro, he was once more given orders to attack a nearby rebel camp two days travel away. Not wanting to waste time, he moved forward only to be greeted by a immense attacking force, as the battle began. He had already lost a tenth of his troop mass due to the arrows, and while in the midst of conflict was stabbed deeply into the side, and had his left eye blinded. Wounded, and weakened he ordered his men to continue charge till backup came, knowing full-well this would most likely be the end. Forcing forward, he began to commit reckless charges, aggressive attacks, and outright maddening orders. His goal was to scare the opponents into making a mistake, which quickly took the form of a demonic appearance. Blood-soaked, wounded, and enraged he appeared as a monster on the field, and dismounted from his horse to charge head on while on foot. His name giving him credit, he quickly sliced through dozens of men, and rushed straight through what appeared as endless arrows, and darkening light. Now he had gained the right of distilling fear on his opponents, soon they began to shiver, go mad with fear, and retreat from the field. The battle continuing for hours before ending with the head of the enemy General, Kojiro Masahara on a pike.

- Once more showing his fearless might, he was placed into rest for nearly three months, and as he rushed through the healing process, he had continued his life for nearly five more years before deciding to end it. Growing bored with the life he had lead, now a General, and soon to be Shogun he decided to leave his service, and wanted to become a husband to a nurse from the rebel forces, he asked his Master for a early retirement, depressed, and enraged by the shame. The current Shogun ordered him arrested, and placed into jail for the rest of his life. However, the current adviser, and friend to the Shogun asked for mercy, and requested he be forced to a life as a Monk. A shameful stride where he would never battle again, something a Samurai could never stand for.

- For nearly four years he had spent his life with peaceful spite, quiet days, and dark nights with nothing left to live for. He had soon become custom to the way of the monks. Brought with peace, place of mind, and total elapse. His violent side stricken for now, and his mind in peace. He heard of a nearby rebel movement, and decided to once more proceed with battle. Blinded in one eye, and weakened by the lack of training he was no longer the man he was once. On the cover of night, he escaped the monastery, and went into search for the group. However his search was short lived, as he was greeted by a recruiter for the movement, and no longer in his old appearance, took the chance for battle once more. Knowing it would be his last, over the next few years he had begun to once more return to his old form. Excellent skill, leadership, and undying loyal might. He was quickly given higher morals in the group, and during the years he spent with them, fell in love with the movements supporter. Sengoku, Yumi. Taking it as a honor, he decided to call himself by her final name, and went to address his feelings for her the night before battle. Awestruck, and in love she agreed to become his wife. At that moment, he knew what he had to do.

- On the field of battle, he had finally achieved his greatest honor. A day after finding out that if he survived, he would have what he had longed for, for so long. This was short-lived, in the front lines he rushed forward on horseback, his mantle ripped by the thunder of the enemy archers, his body pierced by the spears of the line. He was struck down many times, only to return to his feet, and his continued charge. Then as he rushed the line, single, and alone. The rebels soon discovered who he was.
